Cleanroom walls The design for cleanroom ceilings and walls has been on the rise in the recent past. Modular Cleanroom walls and ceilings can be available for either existing or new installations. They should be reliable and clean. This has made design engineers for the aforementioned specifics to do constant reviews on the design of cleanrooms walls and ceilings. The walls and ceilings are constructed in such a manner that they are flexible (no byzantine constituents in the wall system). Cleanroom should not only reflect cleanliness, efficiency and effectiveness but also they should be multipurpose and flexible in the way they are designed. Cleanroom walls Hard walls are designed with enclosed wall system that is demountable. Hard wall cleanrooms are constructed from varying materials that range from rock to vinyl (flexible). They are available in mica, polyester, porcelain-enameled steel, vinyl, paper honeycomb, plywood, gypsum and among other components. They have strong chemical resistance, visibility, and static control. Hard walls, which are made from baked-enamel, comes with smoothness, durability, and have colour- coordinated walls making them more economical and functional. Porcelain enamel finishes are resistant to harsh environmental conditions such as strong acid exposure. In hygienic environment, stainless steel panels are preferable. Aluminum Honeycomb Panels are efficient in lightweight and high strength complex panels. They have high resistance to corrosion, fungi, and moisture. Biowall is resistant to chemicals, moisture, and heavy impact. It is made from 12 layers of resin-saturated paper, 4 mm thick compression and a laminate panel that has high pressure.
