Meeting an individual’s communication needs is really important if you want to develop a good working relationship with them. It is essential that the people you support trust you as you are working very closely with them. To provide person centred care you need to be able to find out their individual’s needs; wishes and preferences and to do this you need to be able to communicate. You have a duty to work out how to improve or overcome communication barriers, and if they are not resolved then there is a risk that you will cross boundaries, provide care that the person doesn’t like. Everyone has a right to dignity, respect and choice and we need to be able to meet their communication needs in order to provide this.
Passing Information: Informing others of new sought information is of great importance. Letting others know what you think what effort you take on making information important so they can pay attention. Never doubt to pass on the good news, good news is always lively and should be passed on. When giving or receiving feedback, make sure has to reasons for those feedbacks. Continuing training and coaching as collaborations work can provide encouragement during the process. Providing incentives and recognition to effective collaborations also play roles in building successful teams (Taplin, Foster, & Shortell 2013). The organization can also aid in developing efficient workflows and set clear team rules. Also, it is important for team members to be involved in decisions that affect their team.
Our checks are also examples of what we need to be when a new line arises and we become responsible for lending our aide to them. Its all about strengthening our familyhood outside of our current immediate family. Proving that we deserve to be the place holder of what use to be their responsibility.
