My Childhood Memory Childhood memories I would define as a never ending vacation that you wish can last forever. You may say a weekend that does not include No weekdays having fun at all times, times that are everlasting. Childhood memories are special for everyone. There is one childhood memory that is very special to me when I am feeling down I just sit down and think about it and it brings a smile upon my face. It was one summer morning back in ninety-six from what comes to my mind school had just finished and I was out for vacation. My father whom at that time was dressed pretty funny since back in the day people used to dress funny. He had a medium sized afro, a long sleeve shirts kind of hippy style, and some jeans that where kind of tight kind of how people now use them. He told me "Alex is time to wake up" I remember saying " Dad give me a couple of more minutes I am still sleepy and do not want to go to school "He told me" no you are not going to school today have you forgotten its summer break we're going to my home country." When he said that a sudden excitement entered my body and rushed through my veins like how water rushes down a waterfall. I got up out of bed quick and told him lets go. This was going to be the first time I would go to El Salvador yet alone get on an airplane. So I showered got ready came out grabbed my small green travelers luggage told my dad that I was ready. The person who was taking us to the airport was my uncle which by the way is one of my favorite uncles. My father carried me and put me inside his nineteen ninety six Cadillac Seville which my uncle was going to drive. While on the way to the airport there were so many things that ran across my mind. Like how was it going to be being in an airplane for the first time, was there going to be food in there, were there any restrooms for kids or grownups maybe for both. As we
