It is known that the level of education of a certain group of people, for example, people in a country, region or continent, affects their success in achieving sustainable development. An increased level of education by people, in most cases, leads to increased levels of development over time. However, it is important to note that, in order for people to attain a high level of education, they must start learning at very early ages (Burton, 2008). Individuals, who start receiving education at early ages, build a good foundation for themselves in terms of having a better understanding of what they learn. An analysis can, therefore, be carried out to determine how early childhood education impacts a populations success in attaining high levels of education that will be applied in making efforts towards achieving continued sustainable development.
