Chatting on the internet Chatting on the internet is a direct communication or talking to other people who are using the Internet at the same time you are. It could be done through social networks like yahoo messenger, facebook, tweeter...etc. chatting on the internet is like a virtual meeting between two parties. This includes private chatting, which is chatting between two specific people, and group chat, which people from all over the world join in the group and they meet and talk through messages. Chatting on the internet has both positive and negative effects. Its positive effects could be being in touch with your friends and exchanging or sharing ideas. On the other hand, its negative effect could be weakness in spelling, losing controlling of time and getting addicted.…show more content…
You don’t have to spend too much money to call them by your cell phone. For example when our project was over in the office one of my colleagues went to America for studying, the other one migrated to Germany, the other one is working in Kandahar and I am working in Kabul. To be in touch with each other we made a facebook group by the name of “ICT Staff” now every day we join to the page and start chatting with each other. It just feels like we are working together in one office. The next good effect of chatting in the internet is that you can receive advice and you can give advice to those who needed. For example you want information about something you don’t know so you can ask in the group one of the people in the group might know the answer for you question, because there are many people like doctors, engineers, philosophers and astronomers.
