The child will learn to share toys and develop a better vocabulary by listening to others talking. There is also a risk of stress by the child feeling unsafe this can lead to them isolating themselves from the group and not trying to mix with others, this can be hard as they won’t have their parents or career there for support. Another predictable life event is when we leave home/leaving care. The positive learning that they will get from this will be a sense of independence and maturity. They will have to learn to make their own decisions and be responsible for more house work such as cleaning, shopping and general house duties.
I also believe that taking things away from them is a great way of showing them that they must do what they are told. It works better then spanking them half of the time. They do not want their favorite toy or game console taken away because they would be lost without it. Would you want to be hit for everything you did wrong? Of course not, sit down with your child and come up with a game plan for when they misbehave what will happen, make it known so when it is time to take action they will not be surprised.
If parents are able to control were and who their children were drinking with I think this would be a major benefit to our society. One more benefit to lowing the drinking age is that it would keep kids from getting in trouble with the law. First, kid’s wont get under age tickets anymore because they would just drink with there parents consent. This in my opinion is better for everybody because kids are going to do whatever they want anyways. Lowering the drinking age will help because it will keep children from hiding and sneaking around all the time to drink alcohol when they already do it
Now, more and more children don’t like to listen to the other people. When someone is talking to them, they won’t care what he/she is talking about, and they will continuous to play their game. In many parents’ eyes, they will think their child still younger and like to play. Actually, if parents don’t correct their children’s attitude for listening, that will make their children don’t know how to listen to the other people anymore. Learning to how to listen is a core; it should be a part of children’s education.
Video games are not the source of violence but they are consistently blamed; parents need to make sure that their own children are not exposed to media hype that would be considered as violent or damaging to their own kids. The media truly believes they are the scapegoat for anything that goes wrong with today’s society. Today’s parents are naïve and ignorant to the fact that they do not know how to regulate the things their children watch and they cannot control their own kids behavior so they immediately point the blame on someone else. They need to teach their children good morals and show them how playing with guns can change their lives forever. People who own guns need to keep them put away and out of the reach of children.
Final Product #2 By banning books, it creates a negative effect on kids and adults and possibly even eliminate the teachings of life lessons for students. Going through life without the knowledge of what else is out there besides “good” in people can be harsh for some people especially for kids. Kids would not be able to handle life too well in the real world, if the whole time when they were younger they were being protected from all the "bad things" and “bad people.” Many people decide to do what they think is best for the safety of children, but in reality when kids grow up to be adults sometimes it harms them in more ways than helping them. Books shouldn't be banned from society, but some books do have suggestive content or profanity. When the so-called “negative parts” of the books remain, kids gain knowledge of what is and what is not good to do, say, or act.
We have to act fast and get these laws in place so that our children will not ruin their lives becoming sex offenders. Parents need to educate, and discuss sexting with their children and pay attention to what is going on. Parents need to pay attention to what their children are doing on their cell phones. While the internet has parental controls on which websites the children may go to, cell phones do not have that ability. Do not feel like it is an invasion of privacy to look at your kid’s text messages.
She believed “a pattern of repeated actions. Clusters of schemas developed into later concepts” Media reports have an influence on the way children play because news reports that are on the television and in newspapers will make parents not want to let their children leave the house because of what may be happening in surrounding areas. Technology will also restrict children from playing, this could be because of game consoles or television programmes. This is because children are more interested in playing on the latest games and watching their favourite television programmes this will cause obesity in children because they will not be getting the required amount of exercise
Imagine a kid solving a puzzle -which will help to develop his brain- instead of watching TV; also this kind of activities will keep him safe from violence. Ratings: I have seen a TV channel specifying violence ratings, I cannot recall the channel but every time I see it has violence on it I change the channel. We shouldn’t have to watch a program to see if it is violent. Sometime we start watching a program just to see if it appropriate or not to watch and then we realized that even it has violence we watched the entire TV show I think ratings will work just
Alana Mr. Biggs Exp. Read/Write 17 March 2013 Juvenile Justice In todays society the internet and television have a huge impact on childrens lives and the way they view certain situations. The media, such as movies, music and television, shows certain things that many children should not be exposed to. Children at the age of thirteen or younger have a difficult time knowing right from wrong to a certain degree. Many people would disagree with this argument.
