(HP tried a similar strategy when it offered customers 50GB free storage on Box.net.) And Epps even imagines some could offer more innovative broadband models, like purchasing surfing time on an hourly or daily basis, rather than by contract or a monthly plan. The idea, simply, is to introduce more diversity into an ecosystem filled with poor iPad knockoffs. Now, it's clear that no tablet can match Apple's iPad at competitve or even slightly discounted prices--all have tried, and all have failed. (Samsung Galaxy Tab, Toshiba Thrive, HP TouchPad, BlackBerry Playbook--the list goes on.)

A unique way of text messaging on a phone is that the text message can be quickly transmitted to another person without taking up a large amount of time. Text messaging is also private. People will not be able to eavesdrop on the conversation. However, text messaging has been a major problem with students texting in class interfering with the disruption of their learning.
Distracted Driver: Do Distractions Affect Driving Video Game Scores? RESEARCH PAPER Chase Coffey Mr. Matisco / 7th Period September 17, 2012 Why this project will be useful: You read it everywhere, see it on the news… cell phone use and driving an automobile do not mix. People are dying on our roadways all because they simply cannot drive from one place to another without using their phone during the commute. By using a video game such as Mario Kart on the Wii, a game that most school children love, a deeper interest into this subject will most likely be attained. Research: There are many websites that discuss driver inattention which is defined as a driver being drowsy, engaging in secondary tasks (such as talking on a cell phone), not paying attention to the road ahead, and looking away from the road.
He also says that through this idea the value of the word “friends” since nobody could have more than 500 real friends. He basically claims that through new technology the important value of solitude and privacy gets lost and that teens don’t learn the important values. He also claims that the value of the word “friend” gets decreased through new technology. His main audience is teenagers and students who grew up with the new technology and therefore didn’t witness the “old” education that was more about values and the importance of privacy and solitude. Texting and Driving Vs. Drinking and Driving COM155 21 Sept 2012 A beep signals from your phone. You go to grab it and take a look and see your friend would like to know where you want to go tonight. It only takes a minute for you to open your phone and respond to the text, but it also only takes a minute for your life to be over. Wood Radio’s to Ipod’s? In today’s world, the terms Facebook and Twitter can be heard in just about any city or store you go to. People are enamored with their cellular phones and checking their email through their blackberry. They are playing music through tiny devices with no buttons, but instead the symbol of an apple appears on them. They are no longer reading hard back books; instead with one swipe of the finger, they are turning the pages on their Ipads on the airplane or coffee shop.
When we are eating no teachers are around us giving us more lessons. Is it really going to hurt someone texting at lunch? You think that would be an appropriate time, but its not. Or during passing periods we had five minutes to get to class to class. I know for some students it doesn't take that long to get to class unless talking with your friends which is the biggest thing.
We talk to our friends today through a computer screen more than we do face to face sometimes. In her essay Goodman mentions how teenagers today are constantly obsessed with texting, instant-messaging, talking on the cell phone, while doing homework. For some people this addicting habit is true, and for
“She said that my life is being subsumed by yours and that it’s as though I’ve joined some sort of eco-cult and you are the cult leader” (Beaven-75). When Colin contacted his family, he received a similar reaction. His plan was “instead of two three-day trips at Thanksgiving and Christmas” they would “take one weeklong trip for one holiday and stay home and relax for the other” (Beaven-82). His mother did not understand because “the train will run whether you are on it or not” (Beaven-82) and that his sister would be devastated that they would be missing his baby shower. I can only imagine what my family would do if I said something to them like Colin and Michelle did to theirs.
Some friends reduced my pressure by their understanding about American students; “All they like to do is join in the party; you will never see them studying in the library more than three hours. The truth is you cannot compete with them in language, but you can compete with any American student in academic study, because they are so lazy.” I was so excited, even though I did not know if it was true or not. After a whole day trip, I found my dorm in PFT with a tired body and spirit. “What does my roommate like?” I was thinking before I opened the door. All the lights were on but no body was in the room.
