Celestial Worthy of Primordial Beginning There is so much beauty to the artifacts back in the day, how they were even made with such low cost tools is simply amazing. We look back to the time in the 1400’s where tools to sculpt and create buildings were limited yet people were still able to make some fantastic pieces of art. The true magnificence of man-made things will be revealed here, when going over one of the deities is human history. The Celestial Worthy of primordial Beginning which is the highest deity in Daoism and is the first of the Three Purities. “The idea of art can be expanded to embrace the whole range of man-made things, including all the tools and writing in addition to the useless, beautiful, and poetic things of the world. By this view the universe of man-made things simply coincides with the history of art” (Kubler). So much history is stored in all these artifacts that were made by humans; where it came from, what was the story behind it, how it survived after all these years, these are the questions that are wandering our minds. Yet, there are still so much un-answered questions that we still don’t know. In order to find out these questions, the intense searching into the deep ruins of the artifacts life is vital. The Celestial Worthy of primordial Beginning (Fig 5-1), shows the three pure ones, who are gods, conceived as pure emanation of the Tao. In the middle you will see Yuanshi Tianzun (center); he is believed to have unexpectedly formed from pure energy at the beginning of the world. According to legend, he observed the shifting patterns of energy and created the first writing system from them by casting the patterns in gold onto jade tablets.
