Submitting assignments while attending college is an important element in successfully passing my classes. Attempting to pass classes as a procrastinator is no easy task. Well, actually, it is nearly impossible. I must say, I thought I was the exception and thought I could procrastinate my way through the semester. As a result of my own procrastination I have seen an increase in my stress, disappointed instructors, and a drop in my grades. The first effect of my procrastination is unnecessary stress. I would not be under the stress that I am, had I began working on projects as they became available to me. Having the additional stress and attempting to complete multiple projects with close deadlines, is much harder than I could have imagined. The stress and lack of time to complete each assignments has definitely affected the quality of my work. The lack of quality has shown in my Narration essay. Knowing the quality of work has suffered due to my procrastination has added additional unnecessary stress. Most of the stress of attending college can be avoided by simply not procrastinating. The second effect my procrastination is having disappointed instructors. Having the pleasure of having great academic instructors this semester who genuinely care about each individual’s education has been a great experience. My instructors this semester have put in a great deal of effort to provide me a quality education. When I had turned in assignments that have not reflect the education I was provided, it has disappointed a couple of my instructors. A few have shown their disappointment and concern to me, which is an unsettling feeling. If I return assignments that reflect their efforts are appreciated, on time, my instructor’s would no longer be disappointed. By avoiding procrastination, I can succeed in having proud instructor’s while showing them their efforts are
