The Eye of Hazel was smaller than other hurricanes, which a smaller eye equals more wind speed. The highest wind speed recorded was at 155 mph when it was still over the Atlantic Ocean before it had hit Haiti. Hazel was formed in the North Atlantic Basin and its path took it east of the Gulf of Mexico. The small eye also accounted for more than the average number of rain clouds that the hurricane carried which caused a lot more rain and a lot more flooding in the places it hit. Hurricane Hazel was mainly a category four, but may have been a category five early in the hurricanes process.
Ike was the second costliest Atlantic hurricane of all time, only surpassed by Hurricane Katrina of 2005 (not adjusted for inflation; if adjusted, Ike would be the third costliest storm). [8] It became the largest search-and-rescue operation in U.S. history. [9] It was also resulted in millions leaving the Houston/Galveston area and other parts of Texas. However, Hurricane Rita still holds the designation as the largest U.S. evacuation in history.
An interesting fact about the windows is the reason they are so small. Over 500 tons of pressure was used to jack the north and south legs of the Arch apart for the last four-foot piece to be placed at the top. A larger window would not withstand that pressure. On a clear day the view at the top can extend up to thirty miles in either direction, however, St. Louis can be a very hazy city which reduces visibility at the top. On cool, damp mornings a dense fog can create zero visibility at the top.
Bogota and Miami are different in many ways. But, I would like to expose my critical analysis about the most significant differences. First, Miami has a great road structure, while Bogota’s roads continue with a delay of more than 30 years. You cannot compare any of the Miami’s state roads like SR 826 expressway with 26 street in Bogota. The first one has more than 30 miles and the 26 street has only 5 miles.

Queen Mary listed briefly about 52 degrees before the ship slowly righted herself. (live science.com) One of the most memorable rogue wave occurrences was on October 30, 1991.

One political party with in the bundestag was the CDU. In the 1949 elections the CDU won the elections by 1.8%, making Conrad Adenauer the Chancellor of the Federal Republic. Adenauer had to address problems such as Rebuilding war damage, which had damaged the economy due to commerce and industries being destroyed. One of Adenauer`s policies that was a success was that he rebuilt 4 million dwellings by 1957, he did this through raising tax on buildings and capital assets to 50%. Although the result was that 110.4 billion DM were collected, it was less successful that first envisaged due to the level of inflation in Germany.

In 65 BC, Julius Caesar led Roman legions in building a bridge, roughly a thousand feet across, and 25 to 30 feet deep. Caesar came up with the idea, that the bridge was not incredibly strong and stable, but would have enough to march his legions over it. The foundation of the bridge was a series of multiple wooden piles, driven into the bedrock of the river, each pile was a foot and half thick.
