Screams of laughter, shrieks of, “But he started it!” and whistles resonate everywhere. These kids are searching for one thing: relief. The feeling of the water’s icy presence enveloping and shielding their bodies from the sweltering rays is the epitome of perfection. However, for a lifeguard, more fun means a higher possibility of danger. At any second, one of the eighty-five recreational swimmers could submerge, and never recover to the surface.
I made everyone get out and I ran and jumped in the lake and swam around by myself. Ashley saw how safe I was and how happy I was and she stepped up to the dock, dipped her foot in and finally jumped in. She had conquer her fear of the mysterious lake mobster! The last day of camp was bittersweet. We had made lasting friendships and had so many laughs and good times.
Unit 4. Case Study 1: Overcoming the Perils of Canoe Lake In this case study we will discuss how an ordinarily fun time at the lake with the family could potentially turn into a nightmare for the human body. Aside from the sunscreen, umbrellas, hats, and clothing you would normally bring with you for a day out on the lake you are also bringing along something you do not think about as often, your own personal protection and body guard from the outside world, the skin. As part of the integumentary system the skin maintains a constant body temperature, provides sensory information of environmental change, protects the body’s internal organs from the world outside, and can even heal itself when damaged. The skin is constantly protecting itself and the body from any invading microbes that it considers harmful.
In “Catch the Moon”, Luis and Naomi’s attraction was mutual; where Naomi drew his picture and he memorized her number. The fact that they took the time to remember each other in little ways showed how they both liked each other. Naomi is mainly the reason as to why Luis decides to change for the better. In “The Bass, the River, and Sheila Mant”, the attraction is only from the boy to Sheila. Sheila endlessly talks about herself and a guy named Eric throughout the whole boat ride with the boy, never bothering to ask him questions.
We would play a game where we dragged two tubes behind the boat and we would try to see how many times we could successfully transfer from one to another. Unfortunately, I was not the winner of this game. Many of the time the passing water would catch me and drag my body off of the tubes. We left the lake a little sun burnt and sore but still had a great time. June 09, 2012 Today at work was

Third, is to have them practice wearing their underwear, which will also be fun for the child to help pick out. It is very important to let the child feel like they are apart of the decision-making so that way they get excited to begin potty training. Finally, it’s time to start practicing. By now, the child feels comfortable with all of their new gear, and feeling proud that they got to pick it out themselves, which will further help the child excel in using the toilet independently. Using these steps will produce a desirable outcome for everyone involved, as long as everyone continues to be dedicated and excited throughout the entire process.

The Family Day Event took place at 10 a.m. in the main gym. While everyone were siting and waiting patiently, we stood up to see the recruits marching in. Another day comes, and just like any other mid-afternoon My sister who was thirteen at the time, her friend who was also thirteen, my brother who was twelve, two cousins who were seven and five, and I who was eight all trail out of the house going to go see if anything exciting is happening at the dirt hills. We decided to take a little detour to go see what was new around the neighborhood. If any new houses were going in, because that usually meant more kids to join us at the spot
