Capitalism vs. Socialism

Many people say our socialist society is turning into socialism. I am going to compare the two many different ways to see how I feel and to give others chances to have their opinion after reading this. Capitalism and Socialism can be compared by its economy, education, culture, and health. Socialism and Capitalism may be very different but with adults saying we are becoming socialism everybody should learn about both and how they can compare and contrast. Capitalism is considered an economy based on who has the best. If you have the best store you will have more money. If you have the best designer you will make the most money. When socialism the economy is based on everybody gets a portion. If you own a small carry out then you can be the private owner, but if it would come to owning Wal-Mart you would have to give it to the government and it would be everybody’s. For capitalism the government takes up to 30% of GDP due to them paying for welfare and things like that. As for a socialism capital the government would give everybody so much money for their health insurances, for example: the government could give you 1,000 dollars and say this is for your doctor’s appointment, find a doctor that is 1,000 dollars or less or you have to pay the difference. In a socialist economy you have three different education stages: 1. Mandatory time which would be like capitalism’s elementary. 2. This second stage of education isn’t mandatory but is highly encouraged and this is like our high school. 3. Universities, this is like our colleges. When in a socialist society all of the three stages of schooling are free. Private schooling is illegal but higher class citizens disobey the law and go there for a better education.
