I will be describing the four functions of management and listing some of the characteristics of each function. I will also be describing my manufacturing option decision and the pros and cons of my decision. Also I explain the impact that an decision have on controlling, leading, organizing, and planning.
When dealing with management there are four functions and one is planning. Planning is an important managerial function. It provides the design of a desired future state and the means of bringing about that future state to accomplish the organization's objectives (Wijesinghe, 2013). When planning you have to think before you do anything. Brainstorming is a great technique to use while planning. Simply jot down all your ideas without structure and then use those ideas to touch on the main points you want to discuss.
Organization is the second plan of management I will discuss is organization and this is basically getting prepared and putting your plan into a more organized format. Defining jobs is an important part of this process. For example; you need to find out which part of your plan needs to do what. This can mean assigning different task for each idea to better understand how these jobs will work. Organizing is needed for structure and it follows a certain pattern that will help to make things start to have more clarity.
