People who have been cheated on will start to feel sorry for Bundy because they know how it feels to have to catch the one you love in the compromising situation. She then goes into a spill on how the man must have never loved her at all. She cries out, “didn’t love me ain’t no fool”. This is very logical because any man who has ever really loved a woman could not bring himself to being unfaithful. She goes into a description of how love has let her down and she will not be strung along, this builds pathos and ethos because she gets herself out of the situation by leaving him.
Amir is the character that is extremely similar to his father Buba, because they both have committed sins in their past. Amir by, watching Hassan his own half-brother get raped or Buba, having sex with his servant’s wife. In the beginning of the book Amir is a person who won’t stand up for himself let alone for any of his friends. Amir is a very selfish and un-loyal person to Hassan, whereas Hassan is a very loyal and selfless person. Although it all changes when Amir and Buba moves to America some of sins from the past still continue to haunt the future.
He tried to save his wife from the humiliation and the torture she was about to endure, but she made it very clear through her trial how she felt about him. “‘I have my own man?” Mu glanced at her husband and smirked. She straightened up and said, “My man is nothing. He is no good, I mean in bed. He always comes before I feel anything.’” She treats her husband poorly in front of the whole town, even after he tried to help her out.
The song "Picture to Burn" is about a boy who cheated , lied , and just flat out didnt treat the girl who actually cared about him right. This story relates to alot of actual realations because its really hard to find someone whos 100 % loyal and committed. So this shows from a girls perspective on how we feel when a boy does us dirty. It talks about how we'll make lies and date your friends just to hurt you and make you feel how we feel. Its like fighting fire with fire it gets you know where but it makes you feel good to know that there feeling the same way you
He and his men fit the stereotype of men overcoming their feelings, at times hiding their fright and doubts about the journeys ahead. Within the tale of the Odyssey men are also weak to the enchantment of women; they are easily seduced even when they might not love the female character. Take for example when Ulysses falls subject to the charm of the legendary sirens (Homer, 800 B.C.E) he begs his men to let him loose of the ship’s mast in order to be able to get to the sirens. In a way men are looked at as weak when it comes to the female human flesh, this is not only true within The Odyssey but in real life as well. Overall the men in this narrative are very confident because no matter what they believe they will make it home without regard to the roughness of the situation they might find themselves in; this is especially true about Ulysses who is the leader of most of the males.
He goes on to talk about how much she hates her for being a faker and plans on saying, “…Marla, you big fake, you get out” (Palahniuk 24). This shows the irony that he wants her to leave for being a faker although he is just as much at fault. This can be related to men being angry that women were coming in and competing for jobs even though it was a completely reasonable thing to
Curley’s wife in particular is a bully towards him as she thinks she has more power over him than anyone else, as she is married to the bosses’ son and she’s white. Crooks longs for friendship with someone but nobody wants to communicate with him as he is coloured. Excitement in his actions when Lennie turns up to talk to him shows just how lonely he is. But Lennie only talks to Crooks when all the other men are out in town. He’s quite cruel towards Lennie and torments him.
When Gatsby found out that Daisy was married he was heartbroken. As a result he did the thing that most people would when they are obsessed by a person. He tried to steal her away from her husband. Love or not, a person should realize that it is not the best thing to do to steal someone’s wife, especially if the person has a young child. He is so obsessed hat he is willing to break up a family just to have his love.
So if your husband did love you anymore I would go find someone else that will and give me the full attention that I deserve from the man. Why can a man cheat in the relationship and it be alright and the woman acts like they don’t see it. But when the woman is cheating in the relationship everyone knows and it is the worst thing in the world, the men don’t act like they don’t know. If the man is unfaithful not only is he making a woman unhappy, but she cannot even go find happiness with someone else because the guy will be a hypocrite about it. No woman wants to be cheated on after the man married her; these are not qualities that are looked for in an ideal man in
According to Limbaugh, Steinem was, “sex(ist)…(when she) once suggested men behave all the time like women who are PMSing” (Whittington). Through this secondary source, the audience sees Steinem being sexist and claiming men always act like women while their PMSing. Humans are all born generally evil and they tend to judge and say things that other people see as offensive. There are men out there that do have more feelings than women and have mood swings, which is also known as PMS for women. Some men in the world would say anything that would turn feminist followers against their feminist leader, which in this case would be Steinem.
