“The Man Who Dies...Rich Dies Disgraced.” A Captain of Industry is an innovator whose business practices and charitable contributions bridge both industry and society, which is unlike Robber Barons, who achieved fame and fortune through dishonest unscrupulous means. Generally speaking, a Captain of Industry is a man who generate money, while Robber Barons exploit money. Andrew Carnegie, millionaire and philanthropist, the man who revolutionized the steel process and created an empire, was a Captain of Industry, because he made sound investments throughout his life, funded public libraries and churches, and endowed many other organizations. As a youth, Carnegie’s schooling ended when he left Scotland, and he only had a few years of it. He later tried to make up for his lack of a formal education with self-study; he gained access to private libraries, read voraciously, and learned skills that got him numerous promotions before the age of 17.
Acting like two different people, one would think that it would be difficult to completely change yourself, which was the same with Simon. There were similarities from his character from era to era, making the transition much easier on both the Simon and the reader. In both time periods Simon was amiable to all of those that he encountered, curious, and always wanted the truth. Simon Morley displayed these characteristics throughout the book from period to period because these characteristics made Simon the outgoing man he was. Throughout the book, Simon was friendly to all of those who he encountered.

Pete Tarnish was an outstanding teacher who was able to communicate well with his students, care deeply about them, and be a great family man. My eighth grade science and math teacher, Mr. Tarnish, was the most enjoyable teacher I have ever had. Unlike numerous teachers, he made class fun. He had a nonconventional matter of teaching that made his students yearn for more knowledge. He had the ability to relate complex science material into our daily lives.
Mr. Gates is a terrible because of where he came from. He was from an upper middle class family his father was a lawyer, his mother served on the board of directors for First Interstate Bancsystem, and his grandfather was a national bank president. Now from knowing all of that about his life, how many of college students can say they have a great heritage to fall back on like Bill Gates? Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, was a prodigy as a child who excelled in every aspect of his secondary education but it was not until He had started his second at Harvard developed the idea for Facebook. First generations college students, specifically those of non-European heritage, do not have such enormous shoulders to stand on.
During his childhood years he had a long, active spell of enjoyment and his happiness has always been present. At the age of 4 he had already been able to read and write, so his parents motivated him to take up poetry as well as music. At that time he discovered very interesting education at Shadow Rock Elementary School. His name is Brandon T. Lunceford.
His only downfall was his anger problems and always being in trouble in school. He did what he was supposed to do at home. He was an energetic healthy little boy who watched wwe wrestling on TV every Friday, Monday, and Sunday. He made the goal to get older and become stronger and better then the superstars he watched. He did 10 pushups a day and 25 sit ups to try and get a six pack.

A poor man, who started with nothing but a belief in God and a thirst for success ended up with one of the world’s largest concentrations of wealth and power in history. Yes, I am talking about none other then the great oil czar and philanthropic, John Davison Rockefeller. Today I am standing here at this very podium in front of you, not to showcase the amount of power and wealth that Rockefeller had accumulated over his life time, but how he used that power and wealth for a better cause, a better society and for a better America. At the age of 14 Rockefeller and his family moved to Ohio, Cleveland.
