(Title) Throughout history, the human race has classified certain years as years that will always be remembered for a stunning invention, event, or discovery that took place. These include years such as 1776, 1941, and 2001. However, many people skip over one very important year: 1996. Why is this year so important you ask? Think the Internet and one of the greatest inventions of all time: Google.
Ford’s Mustang first model was in 1964; it was revolutionary to the car world. It was a smaller coupe but had all the power necessary to be titled as a “muscle car”. The car itself was so popular that they made another model in 1965 ½. The car is still hot in today’s generation; it’s just as wicked as it was in 1964. The Mustang ad from Rolling Stone’s magazine talks about how wicked the car still is, and that you don’t need any other reason to drive this wicked automobile.
Henry Ford was very famous for promoting this wonderful commodity that represented a new kind of freedom. It was a symbol of the American Dream, and everyone was striving to have the new product. “The automobile was the backbone of economic growth.” The first real automobile appeared in Middletown in 1900; however, it wasn’t until Henry Ford came around and created a mass production of automobiles that the machine that would provide easy travel would become popular. Although the automobile created such a wonderful freedom, many adults thought that it was tearing families apart. Teenagers were spending more time with their friends driving around instead of staying at home with their family.

Europe has some of the most famous researchers. Europe is known for being very educated in the fields of Mathematics, chemistry and Engineering. Their technology is on the rise giving them the time to eventually overcome North America. Some special technology they have is Navigation systems. Europe is now the largest market in technology.
Cody Janowski 12/2/10 English Comp Assignment 4 The Internet has undoubtedly changed the way people live their lives. Any information we could possibly want- and more- is at our disposal, and has made life for us incredibly convenient and easy; some, however, might say too easy. One of these people is Nicholas Carr, author of the article “Is Google Making Us Stupid?” featured in the July/August 2008 edition of The Atlantic. Carr argues that the Net seems to be slowly demolishing our abilities to concentrate on one subject, as well as contemplate information, based on the ease of access to everything the Internet provides today. I agree with Carr to an extent; however I would say that his theory most certainly does not apply to everyone.
Trucks are better than cars. Cars do have advantage. You get more gas mileage on a car then on a truck. With gas being so expensive, one day everyone would like to find a ways to save money. People struggle to fill up there tanks in a truck the reason why is because of gas prizes coming to their highest.
Another negative thing they affected was the pollution of the environment. Cars gave people the freedom to go where they needed to be and to get things done. They also helped develop new jobs. Cars were the beginning of assembly line jobs which provided a job for many people during this time. Second of the three economic and technological developments I mentioned is the refrigerator.

Just about anything can be done online now. Many people are reverting from shopping in stores of malls because of the convenience of the internet. You can do anything from balancing your check book, to ordering pizza online today, which is making the internet a big part of most peoples lives around the world. Businesses are making transactions with other businesses online eliminating extra time and wasted money.
It stemmed from chat forums on the website 4Chan, which works in the way that you pick from a variety of topics, such as weaponry or origami, and can post an image or a comment in the thread of a chosen topic anonymously. It has been called the best breeding ground for internet culture. There’s a topic thread called /b/, which is a very random, no restrictions thread, and from there origin some of the most famous jokes of the internet. Since its start on /b/, Anonymous has done some rather controversial things. Back in 2008, people of the /b/ thread invaded an online video game and made it their goal to agitate other users.
