I would love help on editing my essay. I'm really not great at grammar and usually miss mistakes. here it is: When I was 12 years old, most my friends we're interested in artists such as Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera. I, on the other hand, was a little bit different. Not many girls get the opportunity to meet the one person who they idolize, and the one person who inspires them to do everything their heart dreams of doing. What I thought of as an artist, was not a pop-singing-sensation or the latest hot boy band. My biggest inspiration in life, my personal hero, and idol, was Broadway star Shoshana Bean. I was always interested in Broadway and theater; Maybe not as a career, but as a hobby that I was seriously passionate about. I loved the idea of expressing yourself through music and lyrics. There are so many talented people out there on the Great White Way, but Shoshana Bean had a different appeal to me than any other artist I've ever listened to, or seen perform. Her high belting, riffs, runs, and incredible lyrics are what initially drew me into her. It was after the day we finally met, that I realized she was much more than just the green-skinned girl she played onstage in Wicked The Musical, and she was more than just astonishing vocal talent. She was a real and genuine person with real ideas, and real emotions. She cared about fans, and treated them as though they were her friends. Not many people get to say they met their hero, but I do. I had to opportunity to meet the one person in my life that inspired me the most. She was one of those people that I thought I wanted to grow up to be just like. I remember the day we met, my stomach felt like it was tied into a million knots. If I was any more nervous, I may have just died right then and there.
