In 1959, she graduated from Wesley College with a B.A. with honors in political science on a scholarship. Joseph Medill Paterson, a member of the Medill newspaper-publishing family, married her the same year, together they raised three daughters; twins Anne and Alice, and Katie. Even with the difficult job of upbringing her children, she managed to earn a degree of M.A. in Public Law and Government from School of Advanced International Studies and a certificate from the Russian Institute, both at Columbia
He became Vice President of the student body during his junior year, and moved up to President in his senior year. Sam Walton excelled academically becoming an honors student. Sam grew up during the great depression and he did many odd jobs to help meet his family needs. The family owned a cow, which Sam milked and bottled the excess milk and delivered it to customers on the same route as his paper route. He was awarded “The most versatile award” at his high school graduation.

Salinger was the youngest of two and the only boy born to his parents, Sol and Miriam Salinger. Salinger was always considered intelligent, however he flunked out of the McBurney School near his home in upper west New York. After flunking out of school, his parents decided to send him to Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, Pennsylvania (Haudgruff; Salinger).
Synopsis Marc Jacobs, an American fashion designer, was born on April 9, 1963 in New York City in a non-observant Jewish family. Marc's life was completely altered following the death of his father at the age of 7. He would eventually move in with his grandmother and that made all the difference. Marc entered the Parsons School of Design and later a position at Perry Ellis. Marc Jacobs is best known for his eponymous label Marc Jacobs, his diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs and his 16-years tenure at Louis Vuitton as creative director.
He attended Ohio state university but dropped out after one quarter after failing to attend most of he's classes. After this Dharmer's father forces him to enroll in the army. Dharmer did well there for two years but ended up being discharged to he's alcholism. Dharmer then headed to Miami, Florida because he claimed he was tried of the cold and he did not want to face he's father. In 1982 Dharmer went to live with he's grandmother in West Allis where he continued living here for six years.
Number 7 was the first true believer; he went out on a limb, in wanting to find the truth, when he could have very easily anonymously voted guilty and they could have been done with the situation. Basically, Number 7 gave Number 6 support; he changed the tables so it wasn’t so one sided, and he gave Number 6 the chance to convince other people. After everyone voted it became obvious that they would need to discuss the situation. He opened up the table for Juror Number 6, giving him the chance to convince everyone else. Juror 7 saved the whole process himself by being open to new ideas and questioning what he knew.
Eugene V. Debs’ father, Jean Daniel, was born in to a very well-off family which owned 2 businesses, one being a textile mill and the other being a meat market. Debs was married on the ninth of June, 1885 at the age of thirty, to Kate Metzel. The two never had children, but their home is still standing in Terre Haute, Indiana, on in the middle of the Indiana State University campus. Eugene V. Debs dropped out of school at the age of Fourteen. This is not a very good trait of a real American Hero.
You could say that was the start of his career as a composer. Menken attended Rochelle High School in his home town and after graduation went to Pre-med school to become a dentist. Lucky for us he later changed his major to music. After college Alen attended the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop in New York where he worked at local clubs writing jingles and songs as an accompanist. Alen Menken got his first big break in January of 1979 with Howard Ashman in the Off-Broadway production “God Bless you, Mr. Rosewater.” Three years later he received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Music in his Off-Broadway Production “Little Shop of Horrors” and from that in January of 1987 Menken was given his first Oscar nomination for a song with in it called “Mean Green Mother from Outer Space.” In 1990 Menken was nominated for three Oscar nominations and three Golden Globe Nominations and went on to win two of each for his work in the Walt Disney production “The Little Mermaid”.
Bandura learned a lot about value and importance of self-direction from this time in his life (Aboud, 2005). After graduating high school, Bandura started working in Alaska during the summer (Aboud, 2005). Then he decided to go to the University of British Columbia (Aboud, 2005). He took an introductory psychology course because it fit into an early timeslot thus allowing him to work in the afternoon and became hooked (Aboud, 2005). He graduated three years later in 1949 with the Bolocan Award in psychology (Aboud, 2005).
Haley was born in Ithaca, New York, on August 11, 1921. He is older then 3 brothers and a sister. Haley lived with his family in Henning, before he returned to Ithaca with his family when he was five years old. Haley's father was a professor of agriculture at Alabama A&M University. The younger Haley always spoke proudly of his father and the stuff of racism he had overcome.
