Evil in Beowulf, to illustrate the obvious contrast between good and evil and puts a spin on it by telling the story from Grendel’s point of view, ultimately connecting to the theme of Grendel’s need for community in Gardner’s work. In Beowulf, the author emphasizes the differences between Good and Evil by portraying the monsters as unstoppable forces, while most humans are depicted at the monsters’ mercy. An example of the theme Good vs. Evil in Beowulf is “So Hrothgar’s men lived happy in his hall Till the monster stirred, that demon, that fie, Grendel, who haunted the moors, the wild Marshes, and made his home in hell…” (Beowulf, Canto 1 Lines 101-104). This quote from Beowulf shows how the men in Herot are at peace until the monster, Grendel, ruins the serenity of the hall.
2. Who/what is causing so much grief in Hrothgar’s kingdom? The monster Grendel is sneaking into Hrothgar’s palace during the night and is killing all of his men. “Bloody footprints were found. That was bad enough, but the following night Grendel killed more—blinded by sin, he felt no remorse.” 3.
Examine and show the strengths of two solutions to the problem of suffering Evil and Suffering are in the world in two forms; Natural evil, which is the apparent malfunctioning of the natural world, such as disease and natural disasters and Moral evil, which is when humans commit acts of viciousness or injustice upon other humans or animals. The apologist Thomas Aquinas, as a ‘privation of goodness’, described suffering and John Hick described it as 'physical pain, mental suffering and moral wickedness.' St Augustine defined evil as 'that which we fear or the act of fearing itself. In this essay I will be looking at the different solutions to suffering, their strengths and commenting on the view that they are failures. Augustine provides one response to the problem of suffering which is known as the Augustine Theodicy.

Section1 & 2 In the beginning, a furious and crazy dictating monster was heard growling impatiently. Everyday music was playing about “The ancient beginnings of us all” (Raffle, 21). Hrothgar’s men lived in a great friendly environment until the mean and Evil monster; Grendel came and haunted the warriors. He was conceiving by a pair of monsters, who were the blame for the death of Abel. The almighty kept the demons out, but soon split into different forms of evil.
If socs ever see a lone greaser they attack. They beat them up and sometimes things get out of hand. Many times people get seriously injured or even killed during these dangerous disputes. One time in the book Johnny gets badly hurt by some socs and he gets scarred for life. Fighting is never the answer.

Anyone that the plague came upon, caused reddening stains on the face and the body would appear, which caused the individual to be thrown in a secluded quarantine factory.
