Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo is f***ing awesome. That may sound like an inapporpriate way to describe a play, but then you don't know this play. That's the language they use. Really. And we read it in English class. Like when Kev finds out that Tom killed Saddam's sons, he says, "You got to kill Saddam's sons. Awesome." And Tom says, "Yeah. It was cool." The people talk just we talk. It's real. They use words like bitch and f***. It makes you pay attention. There's also a lot of killing in the play. And after they get killed they stick around, which sounds weird but is kind of righteous. Like Uday carries around his brother's head. And Uday is dead. And he talks about all the people he killed and tortured and raped. And he makes jokes. And the tiger talks. And he says things like motherf***er. Robin Williams played the tiger. There's a gold gun in the play and it is used to kill a lot of people, like the tiger and Tom and almost Musa. And Kev kills himself because of it. He thinks it's great when he sees it in the first scene, but then he kills himself later. There's a gold toilet seat in the play. That's pretty weird. I mean, who wants a gold toilet seat? But it's worth a lot of money, so everyone wants it. And a leper woman who is like sand and keeps losing her arms and stuff gives it to Tom and then he gets killed. Musa has a lot of problems. He is treated like shit (that's the way they talk in this play) by Kev and Tom and the Americans and he has to translate for them. And he doesn't understand what bitch means and they keep calling him a bitch. And his sister was raped and I think killed. So I get why he shoots Tom in the stomache and leaves him to die. I mean, I'd be pretty pissed, too, if that happened to me. If the play used different language it wouldn't be as good of a play. You wouldn't relate to
