While on vacation in Daytona Beach, Florida, my husband and I had a hair raising idea and, we decided to move our family from New York City to sunny Florida.

I openly marveled at the breathtaking surroundings around me, only to see pained reactions from my host family.

Running Head: REFLECTION ESSAY Reflection Essay Geog 200 October 27, 2012 Living in New Mexico is something I never thought would ever happen. I am originally from Georgia where we have an abundance of tall trees, green grass, lakes, rivers, and woods to stroll in on a daily basis. New Mexico is a very beautiful place if you give it time to grow on you. After living here for seven years I have come to call it home, whether I like the idea of it or not it has become a reality for me. One of the best scenery spots that my family and I have come to enjoy would be Sandia Crest.
