Along with about 600 native associates, the Spaniards set up base in one of the Aztec's many ceremonial temples. During all these events, Governor Velazquez sent a fleet under soldier Panfilo de Narvaez to Mexico. Cortez knew of this and marched with a small group to the coast where he captured Panfilo de Narvaez, and persuaded most of the soldiers to join his band. When they returned to Tenochtitlan, an Aztec revolt had progressed too far. Montezuma died from a stoning three days after asking the Aztec people to calm down.

England soldiers were about 6000. The opponents were the French king, Charles VI and his solders. There were about 20000 soldiers in this group. It is said that it is unbelievable the England to win the French because they were just 6000 people. Henry V decided to do the same tactics as the Battle of Poitiers and the Battle of Crécy because they were smaller members than the French members.
After this war, Spain assured improvements, but the nationalists did not believe they would cooperate. In 1895 when another rebellion led by Cuban nationalists took action, the Spaniards sent about 200,000 soldiers to Cuba. The Cubans reacted by damaging any property that belonged to Spain such as the sugar mills and fields hoping this would make the Spaniards retrieve their land or so the U.S can intervene in this disaster. A year later, Spain sent General Weyler to put down those nationalists in Cuba. He decided to build concentration camps and

But rather than waiting on being attacked, Cortes determined to anticipate them. He had some of the city lords called saying that he wished to speak to them and shut them in the chamber by themselves. After the five hour firing to some houses and towers where natives defended themselves, Cortes and his army with the help of Tascaltecal and Cempoal natives, forced all the people out of the city. 3. After evaluating Cortes letter to the king, I believe that it is subjective towards the Native American civilization.
Cuba, a Spanish colony, had been in rebellion since 1895. The brutal Spanish response turned American sympathies to the Cuban insurgents. The US Battleship Maine arrived in Havanna Harbor in January 1898 with a dual mission to protect American interests and present the Spanish with a show of force. At 9:40 PM on the evening of February 15, an explosion ripped the forward hull quickly sending the ship to the bottom of the harbor, killing two hundred sixty-six of the 345 crew members. Investigations started immediately.

Baltimore was sent to Valparaiso under the command of Captain Winfield Scott Schley to protect American interest in the port during the Chilean Civil war. The incident created a diplomatic crisis that lasted for months and nearly caused war between the two countries, until an agreement was reached in early 1892.
