Divorce is a huge topic a lot of parents think about when they feel that there spouse is no longer compatible with them and also the fact that it’s not working out for reason only they will know. It may just be the fact that two people that were deeply in love just feel out of it because of no connection anymore. In the article “Just Whom Is This Divorce” Good” For? Written by Elizabeth Marquart talks about how divorce can cause children even from a good divorce go through it there selves when they get older, children also feel that they are to blame for their parents getting divorced and they lose all interest for other things, there is also a lot of controversy about which parent gets which day can just lead up to a huge custody battle for most.
Kids without parents suffer the most, there is no mutual agreement for what's best for the child. The mother would like to have things her way and the father his. They can't combine the sight of each other, even if it means sake of their child. This makes very hard for the child and for the school and for other facilities that has to accommodate for both parents separately. For example “in parent teacher conferences there are two copies of report cards, two of everything because the parents can't agree to share.” This is very sad.
Abigail's shrewd behavior is most likely from growing up an orphan and never acquiring a parent's unconditional love. According to the online article The Effects of Parents on a Child's Psychological Development a child who receives minimal love from a parent are more likely to develop into an adult with lower self-worth, feelings of inadequacy, limiting beliefs and insecurity which can result in suspicion and jealousy in relationships. Although Abigail was taken in by her Uncle he was far too interested in the way he was perceived by the community to care about Abigail at all "…now when some good respect is rising for me in the parish, you compromise my very character. I have given you a home, child, I have put clothes upon your back…" The absence of a parent figure in Abigail's life have made it oblige to look after herself when something has gone awry. In the midst of taking care of herself Abigail had an affair with John Proctor who gave her a sense of security and belonging which she wasn't able to receive from Reverend Parris.
That means no source of income. The children would grow up to have a fear of society and a loss of trust. This means that there would be many secrets between these peoples. Some unfortunate First Nations peoples will not parent right as they were not taught right because of the abuse. They may pass that experience onto their children, and their children's children and so on.
Of course not, all people know that fighting can’t solve anything, and sometimes it would make the problem worse. Spanking the children is not okay because it would make the child has bad memories and spanking can’t solve problems. Spanking will make the children have bad memories. Even they grow up and become the one who doesn’t needs their parent spanking anymore, a good kids, he still remember how their parents hit them, and how it hurt.
They feel sexual education would teach their children that they would have wait until marriage to have sex. Many of these parents do not feel comfortable with the idea of their child being subjected to spiritual welfare. (Opposing par. 3) They feel like they do not want their kids think their physical actions are connected to their spiritual actions. They want their children to be taught that their body is completely separate from their spirit.
Spanking your child without telling your child what they did wrong or why they are being punished can leave a child feeling unloved and undeseable. Some parents have been known to torment their child for every little thing they have done wrong, instead of using spanking as a form of discipline. Parents that have not been properly taught by other parents before them on the proper way to spank, can spank their child too much and have a child becoming violent and non good person for the society. A spanking should be a last recur. A parent should first explain to their child what he/she did wrong.
Parents are busy making fortune and they are either too busy or quite tired to interact with their kid. They want to replace their presence through material aspect and here lies the real danger. The teens who are not related with the syphilis outbreak or are even aware of it allow the investigator to delve into their own dark world where there are everyday new rules for dating and sex. And children of age group of twelve or thirteen are even the victim of this social malice and in fact are the worst affected

This finally leads me to the grandfather who would have been the only male to have been involved in child A’s development but he appears to have taken a very minor role and chose to stay in the background letting his domineering wife pull the family strings. This meant again that child A had no dominant male role model in her life and reinforced the grandmother’s matriarchal role.
Like say you had parents that had a different view on birth control like most parents and went against it, the teenager might feel as if they were going against his/her parents and wouldn’t get what they needed. This goes along with being disowned by family because of your choice. If a teen has sex, don’t you think they should have access to the proper protection with or without parent consent? Teenagers don’t have that sense of comfort in talking to their parents about sex because some feel as if it’s awkward, weird or as if their parents will get mad or judge them. If your child wants to protect themselves whether it’s from getting pregnant or whatever it may be, why stop them.
