References Page 6 Executive Summary Outlined in the following report is an identified problematic situation in which I faced in the work place at my previous employer, Visa Europe. The report contains a thorough description of the problem and the main issues in which I was faced with. The report then continues to analyse the problem using Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs theory. In doing so, the analysis outlines the problems I faced and how they directly affected levels of motivation. Following the description and analysis, I have then suggested possible solutions to these problems, both applicable to my personal situation and also more generally for others facing these issues in the future. To summarise I have provided with two useful web sources in with further reading and understanding can be found. Motivational Issues in the Work Place 1. Problem Description and Analysis 1.1 Problem Description At my previous employer, Visa Europe, the problematic work situation which I encountered was lack of motivation. My job title was Technology and Processing Services Higher Apprentice. On originally accepting the job role, many agreements and expectations were put in place, however over a period of time it became apparent that these were not being met, and some completely being ignored.
