Awaiting the future All my life, since I was just a little girl, I have wanted an amazing job, career and family. My parents have always told me the most important thing was to finish school, graduate and go to college. As I am growing up now, as a senior in high school, I am coming to realize how successful I want to be in my life and much how much I want to accomplish. Growing up in my family, with my parents and one sister, has changed me to work hard for what I want. For example, my mom or dad never went to college and so they never got the chance to have a career. With my sister, she graduated high school in ’07, and went to college. In this day today, she is still attending college not knowing what she wants to study or do with her life. And looking back at my parents and my sister now pushes me to make decisions for myself and what is best for me to be successful. Being in high school, honestly, I wish I could just finish, graduate and start my life in the real world already. But for now, knowing it is my senior year, I want to do my absolute best, giving it my all and making my parents proud by getting good grades. That way I can get into a good college and later transfer to a university in L.A to reach my goal, studying in the medical field and becoming a nurse. I am so amazed how decided I am about what I want for my life. It gets me so pumped that I might actually have my dreams come true. All I want for myself is to be living the life that I have always wanted, with the people that are most important, in my life and being successful in what I do. I’m very confident about the career that I want to take part in because I know that it will help me to change myself for the better. I can see myself being hardworking having a job, a career, and hopefully later on meeting the love of my life and having a family. That is the most important to me after
