Have fun with children. Let them play and be themselves, it’s OK! Many people think “what are children learning through play?” try it and you will see. You will see that children learn most of what they know through play. I’m not talking about planned out play.
Through doing this and practising the skills that they have learned the children will be able to take ownership of their learning and be able to apply it in different situations. To provide high-quality experiences for young children we should aim for a balance of one-third adult-directed activities and one-third child-initiated activities. The other third of the time should ideally be taken up by child-initiated activities that are then picked up on and supported by an adult – these are opportunities for ‘sustained shared thinking’ to take place. Children learn through first-hand experiances and activities with the serious business of ‘play’ providing the vehicle. Through their play children practise and consolidate their learning, play with ideas, experiment, take risks, solve problems, and make decisions… First-hand experiences allow children to develop an understanding of themselves and the world in which they live.
At (name of camp), the main focus of the camp is to create a bully free zone where everyone learns how to function within a functional community. As a group working together, life can be easier and sometimes even sweeter. Finding this emotional support will benefit the children throughout their lives. I explained how important I believe the Let’s Play initiative would be for children to get out and have physical play with friends or family at the playground. DPS stated that this program is not only for children, but for older children as well, so that they can partake in different sport and not have to worry about getting equipment and other items needed if they could not afford it. The value of the cognitive approach is to enable children to understand the environment around them it’s also helpful in a situation whereby the development of a service user is an issue. Cognitive perspective helps service users such as children to explore with their hands and feet during early developments. However, cognitive perspective also assists children boost their knowledge and the understanding of self, others, and the physical world around them. In other words they develop the very spirit of play and encourage imagination and improves social skills. Through play a child learns about himself and the others around him which in turn teaches him how to deal with others in the wider world.
I believe that a close customer interaction would yield the best results. For example, they can sponsor local teams, schools, and known or underdog athletes. They can also donate to fitness centers and schools for people to try out the racket and in return people will play with the racket in the locations simply because it is new and no extra cost. CREATIVE PLAY How creative play can promote learning? Through creative play children have the opportunity to develop new skills. Creative play can promote learning for children aged 2-4 years through four main areas: Intellectual development - which children learn through solving problems, using different materials or equipment in different ways. Sorting, counting, matching and measuring, also by listening and following instructions by watching and copying what others do. Social and Emotional development - which allows each child to learn through fun and by helping people.
The kids who participate also get a free kids meal from Chick-fil-A, and who passes up a free meal. This year I kept up with one of my good friends who work with Chick-fil-A and he told me they needed some extra help out there. I chose to do this event because it seemed like it would be a fun way to hang out with kids, and help Chick-fil-A in any way I can. I enjoy hanging out with kids so I knew I would enjoy this event. I got to dress up, get my face painted, and hang out with kids for four hours.
Play time can also become a family experience which serves to bond family members together and allow adult members an opportunity to model healthy exercise habits for children. Exercise also helps young children develop a healthy self-image and positive self-esteem as they take pride in their physical accomplishments. The exhilaration that comes with running, laughing, and playing can also boost a child's mood. This leads to one of the most important reasons kids should play outside: its fun! When children do exercise it can benefit from regular exercise because if they are active they will have stronger muscles and bones.
