Since consumers will be more likely to support American vendors, this will keep the American businesses running and not force them to cut costs to compete with imports. As long as American businesses do not have to cut costs and layoff workers to compete with imports, the American job base stays stable and possibly could grow.

Legally, Kathy Kudler has the right to shut down any department in her stores for any reason. Kudler Fine Foods enforces an employment at will policy. According to the employee handbook, “KFF has the right to add new policies, change policies, or cancel policies at any time. The only policy we will never change or cancel is our employment-at-will policy. The employment-at-will policy allows you or KFF to terminate your employment at any time for any reason” (University of Phoenix, 2008).
FJR has discussed the research with management and highly recommends that they do not open any new locations until further research has been done in other areas. It is very expensive and time consuming opening new locations and Kudler does not have the financial means to do so just yet. What Kudler Fine Foods needs to focus their attention on is other competitor in the market. They can offer coupons or special promotions towards maybe the first of the month which will attract consumers into purchasing more products because most consumers get paid at that time. Kudler will also advertise to the Asian community by having advertisements in their language.
If Pat does files a suit of wrongful discharge, we will be able to argue that he was fully aware of the at will employment policy. If he argues that reception of the personnel manual is an implied contract, we will have precedent from the Dillon v. Champion Jogbra, Inc. case, 819 A.2d 703 (Vt. 2002), in which the judge ruled that it was not a breach of contract when another company fired an employee without cause (Jennings, 2006). In this same case the judge argued that it is the right of the company to modify the employee agreement (or personnel manual). Our personnel manual is ambiguous (as are most manuals). Any attempt to challenge the at will status will be difficult because it will most likely be left up to the interpretation of the judge or

However I know in the long run it will not work because eventually I would like a wife and kids and having a roommate would be impossible to live with and would cause all kinds of trouble for me and my future family. However with a wife also includes extra income from her job so I still should be in good shape with two different sources of income coming. So my roommate should be able to work just fine for the short term and then in the long run when I have a wife I can rely on her income to help out with the
Rationally the logic is sound, we take on debt in order to get a good paying job which we can use to pay it back later. Unfortunately it’s not that simple anymore. College used to be the place you go in order to get better jobs than the rest of society, kind of like a shortcut to success. Nowadays that is no longer the case, in fact, the opposite is true. If you don’t go to college, you are almost guaranteed to not get a job, or if you do it will only be a minimum wage job, with no job security, that won’t even pay for the cost of living.

Making college free would be a handout to many that did not want to go to college and would not take college seriously. A college education should not be free to everyone because going to college is a choice and an investment in ones future; it requires discipline and self -sacrifice with hard work by many. Making college free has been a growing issue between many college students and their parents. Many believe that if college was made free than more students would go and the minority groups would have a better chance at getting educations then they do right now. What many college students and parents know, but do not choose to accept, is that many states have colleges with free or discounted tuition.
