Shakespeare’s use of blood in this scene represents the loyalty and honor as Macbeth killed Macdonwald in defense of the king. After the battle, Macbeth was rewarded with a new title as the Thane of Cawdor yet he was not completely satisfied as he became greedy. Shakespeare also uses bloody images to foreshadow future events associated with Macbeth’s power. Aside from symbolizing blood as honor, he uses it to demonstrate the character of Macbeth and his drastic personality change as the play progresses.
This is used in the previous scene when Romeo and Juliet marry in secret by Friar Lawrence. The language used in this scene is also very important and is linked to the character development of Romeo and Mercutio. Mercutio went from being a light-hearted comical person, 'one word with one of us"... Make it a word and a blow'. His attitude is the complete opposite once he is injured by Tybalt 'a plague a both houses'. Romeo went from being a very romantic soft-hearted person and not reacting from Tybalt's threats and pleading not to fight 'good Capulet, which name I tender as dearly as my own, be satisfied'.
Biff cannot contain himself any longer and hugs Willy through his tears. Willy takes this as a sign of love and we see that he commits suicide for Biffs sake. Here Miller shows that although they have different beliefs they still love each other deep down and Willy sees this as being successful. The audience are touched by this and admire Willy for sacrificing his own life for the goodness of his son. In conclusion, “Death of a Salesman” by Arthur Miller is a heartbreaking play which sees Willy’s beliefs get the better of him as he takes his own life.
King Creon shows that he cares about Antigone. He tries to save her life but she is stubborn and makes a sacrifice to bury her brother which was against the law. King Creon seemed like he was impressed by Antigone since she chose a plan and did not back down from it. Antigone knew the punishment that would follow after burying her brother, her death. Creon may think she is just as stubborn as her father Oedipus once was.

Karl is the type of person that protects the people he loves, he cherishes Frank and Linda, even with a disability he is grateful for their hospitality; but Doyle is an obstacle that Karl must overcome so that Frank and Linda can live a better life. Doyle dies by the hands of Karl, he kills him because he witnessed the evil that Doyle displayed, “I aim to kill you” (Thornton). Therefore, the storyline’s progression supports Karl’s ability to grow and learn as a human being.
Wiglaf knows of the many triumphs Beowulf endeavors, and sees it as an encouragement. If Beowulf was able to defeat, why couldn't Wiglaf. Wiglaf is extremely brave to continue the fight Beowulf had started and kill the dragon as his loyalty shines through. Beowulf and Wiglaf are genuinely loyal characters in the epic poem. The two inferior men endeavored many hardships throughout because of their loyalty to others.
Secondly, he is a very courageous man. While I was reading the book, I look that Beowulf has a lot of courage.
