WHY YOU SHOULD NOT SKIP BREAKFAST? Breakfast is the first meal we take every morning before going to school,work or doing a job. For us Filipinos we usually take something with carbohydrates, fruits/vegetables,protein rich food and a beverage such as tea,coffee,milk or fruit juice. A lot of people nowadays however skip breakfast because they believe that it is not necessary for it is already usual for them not to, they may say that they don’t have time for that for they are in a hurry for they may get late, it is a way to lose weight Being a student and a member of these kind of population I would say that eating breakfast everyday is essential and very important. The first reason why you should eat breakfast before going to school is for your health. When you skip breakfast and go to school, you are looking for a disease because it’s not healthy to have an empty stomach all day long. It’s very important to have a meal and not let your stomach work empty. All you are going to get is gastritis and a lot of problems…show more content…
This is due to the fact that after a long night sleep, your blood sugar levels could be dangerously low. Those who skip breakfast consume 40 percent more sweets, 55 percent more soft drinks, 45 percent fewer vegetables and 30 percent less fruit than people who eat breakfast.- Dairy Research Institute.
