They say ever since she has wanted healthier food in schools they started serving foods that do not look edible and gross. Many programs are trying to make healthier school lunches because it is the main cause for child obesity. The school lunches are super unhealthy for the kids because they have a lot of sodium, fat, and sugar. Schools should cut down on all the sweets they give the children also because that cause a lot of health problems. One of the main things schools need to do is to stop adding so much salt on to the meals because salt is super unhealthy.

Students who don't get adequate nutrient intake at lunchtime are at risk of poor progress in class and decreased cognition, says University of Toronto. Lack of adequate nutrition means children aren't getting the energy they need to perform in school and aren't able to focus. They are also at an increased risk of getting sick, which means missing school and falling behind. A nutritious midday meal is vital for learning new things and keeping the brain healthy.

Being pushed around and shoved to get an unappetizing school lunch is a problem itself. On the other hand, the problem with school lunches is the fact that the food itself is 99.7% of wondering. Students wonder what is in their lunch because there isn’t a packaging label. I had a hard time drinking just plain milk, so I put some chocolate syrup in it and that made it much better but a lot less healthy. I thought that this week I may try a different solution because I know that this is not the healthiest. Although my fat intake went down this week and was way better than last week, I still had too much of it in my diet. I had 38.3% and the recommended is only 20% to 35%. My sodium intake was still over the correct amount.
