There are more people paying attention on how to be more beautiful; therefore, to be more attractive, having plastic surgery is someone ‘s choice. However, since the plastic surgery was used on changing people’s appearance, there has been an argument on whether people should have plastic surgery or not. The opponents, who are against having plastic surgery, mainly stand for four reasons as follows. First of all, the opponents think that nature is the most beautiful; secondly, having plastic surgery is risking greatly on safety, and there are many unpredictable hurtful consequences on body; moreover, opponents are supporting that those people who have had plastic surgery is cheating and using the “fake” face to “steal” other people’s attention; in addition, better life, such as good jobs and well-pay salary, is not caused by better appearance but the ability. On the contrary, I positively hold optimistic opinion, and I support people to have plastic surgery. Objecting having plastic surgery, opponents always advocate that natural things are the most beautiful. However, I can hardly accept those opinions of opponents. When Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence that " all men are created equal", it meant that people should have the equal rights to pursue what they want. People have the right to keep nature appearance; other people also have their rights to have plastic surgery and improve appearance. Before making the choice whether to have plastic surgery, let us talk about the famous fair tale The Ugly Duckling. Ugly duckling was born ugly.
