Have you ever had an important event and had to get your makeup applied for extra money because you couldn’t get that “right” look for your eyes? Well, I have a way of making your eyes appear perfect without a trip to the MAC counter. Applying eye makeup can become difficult when there are all different shapes, sizes, and colors of eyes. If you follow the correct techniques it become much simpler than assumed. Most people, like me, believe that eyes are what give a person their individuality. They show the true inner being and are all considered unique and beautiful, no matter what shape, size, or color they are. When shadows, liners, and mascaras are applied correctly it can enhance the natural eye beauty and create confidence that is truly irreplaceable. Eye shadow is meant to highlight and define the eyes. Eye shadow is used to create depth to bring out the beauty of the eyes. A dark color is used on the eye to make them appear larger. Creating illusions is what eye shadow is all about. Every eye has a unique technique when applying eye shadow. There are big eyes, small eyes, wide eyes, deep-set eyes, etc. Therefore, each has their own technique when applying eye shadow. Large eyes want to apply dark shadows on the lid and extend it to the crease, then apply a flat color under the brow to highlight. Small eyes don’t need too much shadow or liner, for it makes the eyes appear smaller. These eyes want to apply a light color on eyelid and brow to highlight, then a darker color in the crease. Deep-set eyes use lighter colors on the eyelid and under the brow; a medium color in the crease emphasizes the outer corners of the eye. Wide-set eyes use darker colors on the inner corners of the eyes. Hooded eyes apply light colors on the lid and darker colors from the center of the eyelid to the outer corners and blend together.
