Both images have been manipulated to look like cartoons, giving the impression that this is aimed at a younger audience. The 2005 film poster stays true to the original design, swapping the new cast for the original cast. However the leading actors are in proportion to the rest of the 2005 (Fig 2) cast in the image. In the original 1976 poster (Fig. 1) the leading actors are not in proportion to the rest of the cast, this almost immediately gives them a higher billing and more importance than their junior counterparts.
The system will be backwards compatible with the previous console, the Wii. Being that Nintendo has continued to be outsold by its competitors in 2010 and 2011, the Wii U is a smart move for Nintendo. Running another low-end encroachment (Wii U) could be Nintendo’s successor of the Wii. Rather than sustaining their current the technology, the Wii, by just making small incremental improvements, creating a disruptive technology could help Nintendo jump the curve and turn their current sales around. The gaming industry has five to six year “generations” of introducing new technology to the market.
Due to their respective styles, Chaplin was considered a warm hearted comedic while Keaton was a cool headed funnyman. Besides there realistic and expressive comedic styles, both Keaton and Chaplin were different in their strengths. Keaton’s strength was how he was a better filmmaker. By doing this Steve Jobs overcame great odds and took it in to his own hands …. When NeXT was beginning to be a "bust", Steve, again, took into his own hands and created Pixar. Pixar was basically a couple of computer scientists and they wanted to make movies using computer animation only. There was a problem, there were not computers that powerful enough to do that. Jobs had a plan; "Steve Jobs set a goal for the company to sell high-end computer graphics workstations" (Moisecot 1).
Because of technology being so significant, we tend to use as much of it as possible in movies, or adding as many special effects and unique graphics. For instance, now in theatres, 3-D movies are the new trend, they keep the audience engaged with the movie. As for movies in the mid 1900’s, technology was not so varied, so the movies had no choice but to be basic. Currently, Movies in the 21st century are filled with adult (sexually explicit) content, profanity, and even blood and gore. Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”, portray an unnoticed view of these elements.
"The Wizard of Oz" was a major achievement when you consider that it was filmed nearly three-quarters of a century ago. If the film was made today, there would be extensive use of Computer Generated Imagery (CGI). As eye-popping and jaw-dropping as CGI and how it would have made the film look, it might just take away the charm of the story and its characters. Without computers, the makers used the tools of their trade and of their day. Like the Emerald City, which is a great visual, was created by using sets and paintings.

The beginning was marked on October 4, 1957 when the Soviet Union (USSR) launched a satellite into orbit (The USA hadn’t done anything close to this at this point) around the Earth. Sputnick 1 (as it was named) was then followed by Sputnick 2 making an even bigger impact on the USSR’s standing considering it now became the first satellite to carry life (a dog named Lika) from Earth to space. And, in an attempt to catch up (as they probably
In late 1999 to 2000, the digital animation world was on a huge surge, along with 3D and Web animation, other businesses were opening up in hopes of doing work for the bigger companies, for example, Warner Brothers Animation, DreamWorks SKG, and especially Disney. In 1998, FOX decided to have Film Roman, INC., work on season 1 of The Family Guy, we decided to ship our work to smaller companies to get the bulk of the production done, quickly and efficiently. We found out China, India, Philippines, and other countries were opening up studios and purchasing USAnimation to service their work. We looked into a company, Color Chips, in Hyderabad, India. They were well-managed, experienced animators, and have licensed over 40 USAnimation computers, meaning there would be 40 people working in production and would be a lot quicker to complete.
