When I look up at the stars at night, I just have to wonder who or what is looking back at me from some distant planet in some distant galaxy. We’ve all probably wondered what lies beyond our small, self-contained little world. The question the world has is whether or not there is life beyond earth. In the words of Metrodorus, a Greek philosopher of the fourth century, "To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow." I believe that extraterrestrial life does exist.
Stories of ancient aliens and astronauts visiting the Earth in the past are thought to be connected with the origins and development of human cultures, technologies and religions. Recorded history by civilizations say they saw beings and crafts coming down from the skies and believed that they were “Gods”. That is what these ancient civilizations thought, having no idea what these beings and crafts actually were. They did not know what else to call them, therefore they became “worshipped”, and religions were formed and created in worship of these “Gods”.
From these stories, many Ancient Astronaut Theorists say that god from most or all religions are actually aliens, and their technologies were taken as evidence of their divine status. The Ancient Astronaut Theory explains that humans are either descendants of, or creations of the aliens. The theory is that most of human knowledge, religion, and culture came from visitors in ancient times. In addition, aliens built and helped humans build structures such as Egypt’s pyramids, The Moai stone heads of Easter Island, Mayan pyramids, and Aztec, Incan, and Peruvian megalithic structures.
