As Nyeleti has not set up a business before and has just been in insurance she is an inexperienced entrepreneur, a person who takes the risk in starting a new business. The fact that she is inexperienced could mean that she may struggle to set up the business with issues such as finance. Firstly Nyeleti needs to do some market research in order to see if her business idea will be successful and if people are interested in opening a hat shop in the local village, to do this she could create a questionnaire to give out to the locals. However this will be time consuming and people may not want to do the questionnaire so they may give false information. This is an important factor as if the market research reveals that a hat shop would not be successful in the area then Nyeleti will not waste her money which she has saved. Furthermore Nyeleti needs to look at any competitors which she may have within the market, this way she is able to find out if nearby competitors will affect her when her business is set up and also she will then be able to get an idea about the amount her competitors are charging and this will then help her decide on the prices she should be charging, in order to compete against them. Looking into competitors will also allow Nyeleti to see the hats which competitors supply in order to have more choices in her shop, so customers will be more satisfied and it will hopefully increase her profit. To conclude there are many factors which Nyeleti will need to understand about the hat market, however the most important one would be market research as she will then be able to get an insight into what the locals (customers) want, and also if her business will attract new people to the area to buy her
