It’s 9 am on a Sunday morning. Sunshine makes a beautiful pattern shadow on the wooden floor. I decide to walk out and discover something new in this lovely Sunday. The engine of my black Honda Civic is roaring like a beast. Thank God for giving me a day without traffic. At times, the golden rays would shine and radiate without a cloud in the sky. The gentle breeze is just enough to make it comfortable and fresh air flowing through my car. I am driving down Raymond Blvd in Old Town Pasadena. I am attracted by all bricky European style buildings are surrounding me. Casual dressing people are hanging out with their lover and pets. Dogs are barking around to express their happiness. It is a different place compared to every American place I have ever been. I park my car and wander around on Raymond Blvd. I finally stop by the cross between Raymond Blvd and Green Blvd. I find a green gift shop sign called “Lula Mae Gifts of Wit and Whimsy “. The outside wall of the shop is all paint in red. There are many small rose plants in front of the French windows outside the gift shop. I push the blue wooden door and get inside the shop. “Hello! How are you doing today?” a lady comes across and says. She has a beautiful blonde hair. From her accent, I can realize that she is an American. She is wearing a white lace blazer and blue tightly jean. It makes her look likes an American western cowboy by wearing a brown leather boot. She is smiling all the time and organizing the products on the shelf. At the same time, I find that she has many tattoos full of her
