Was also a literature graduate student who met Randy at a lecture. | Plot On September 18, 2007, computer science professor Randy Pausch stepped in front of an audience of 400 people at Carnegie Mellon University to give a last lecture called “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.” Randy told his audience about the cancer that is devouring his pancreas and that will claim his life in a matter of months. On the stage that day, Randy was youthful, energetic, handsome, often cheerfully, darkly funny. He seemed invincible. Randy’s lecture has become a phenomenon, as has the book he wrote based on the same principles, celebrating the dreams we all strive to make realities.
Phil Knight By: Matthew Mata Career Prep- 1st period January 9, 2013 The Entrepreneur I picked to do my “Famous Entrepreneur Project” over is a man named Phil Knight. The reason I picked Phil Knight is because he created my favorite company that makes athletic attire such as shirts, jackets, shorts, socks, underwear, hats, gloves, watches, glasses, wallets, goggles, sweat pants, and my favorite shoes. I’m sure there are a lot of other things they make but those are just the ones that I buy from them. Phil Knight started when he was around twenty six years old. He was going to school for his MBA at Stanford in the early '60s, Knight took a class with Frank Shallenberger.

We have new and powerfully written evidence about the importance of the teacher in the educational enterprise. Although our work has been validated by a research scholar and eminent writer such as Rose, what is most important is how this book is put to use.
These adventures provided us with fun, stress, and new appreciation as lessons learned by life itself. We have laughed and cried together. We have found that sometimes we may feel alone but yet in other we were not. As students we have learned how to grow in those moments. The knowledge and opportunity which we have received, will serve us well as we embark on the journey of making our dreams come
“Bridge Builders seeks to develop among high school students a group of future leaders who can lay aside individual and cultural differences and work for the benefit of all.” This is the mission statement for Bridge Builders which is a program that I participated in my junior year of high school, and now actively involved with my senior year. The program, without a doubt, lives up to its mission statement. During the program we participated in leadership, personal, and team building activities. The program’s methods taught me how to be a great leader in any situation, whether I was leading myself or a group. I also made life-long friendships, and I am still meeting new people at our meetings that we have during the school year.
