Not like in Manhattan, I need to drink a cup of water to make sure my mouth not burning anymore every morning, the weather in Philly is wet, mostly like my home city shanghai. At 5:30am every morning, I have to go catch the school bus with running. Because if I move slowly or try to have a little snooze, the bus will just go past. I was surprised on this, that I even have to get up that early in America too. My school is a Catholic high school, so we have the Mass every 4 weeks.
Everybody’s relationship starts somewhere in life. I met my boyfriend in May of 2004 at a party when he was off duty around the Thanksgiving holiday. He describes war stories really well and he writes them really well written. He told me that he was in the Afghanistan War and that his grandfather had been in World War II. During, those three months of dating we spend a lot of time together and learning about each other.
When it was my turn, I received the Bishop’s blessing and the Holy Spirit, but I was still so nervous that I messed up my prayer-response. For the first few minutes after mass had ended, I felt very disappointed with myself, but then I became so busy with my family and friends wishing me congratulations that I soon forgot all about it. Afterwards my family and I went out to lunch with Meris, and there I was given flowers, money, gifts and cards. Receiving the sacrament of Confirmation was a special moment when I proclaimed to my whole family that I was old to live my life with Christian values and that I was accountable for that lifestyle. It was a celebration of consciousness and adulthood, and I will always treasure my

Gibbs and Mrs. Webb make breakfast and send their children off to school. Emily Webb and George Gibbs talk after school and we see the first sign that they like each other. Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Gibbs, and Mrs. Soames come back from choir practice and gossip about how Simon Stimson, the choirmaster, is an alcoholic. You got this toy that was supposed to help you learn to walk. I guess it worked because by mid-August you were walking like a pro. When Matthew started school in September you did not like it at all. Every morning when he left you would walk over to the door and cry saying “Maffew!” While Matthew was at school, I would read to you then we would eat breakfast. You would sit in your play pin and watch Mickey Mouse club house while I did household chores.
After what felt like five minutes of eavesdropping, I heard my dad convince my mom that he would take my papa, brother and I hiking. “No,” I thought to myself. My mom then, came into my room and said, “Emily, put on some thin, comfy clothes you’re going hiking with your father.” With a sigh, I got out of bed and got dressed and ran to my brother’s room to help him get dressed. After my dad, brother and I had eaten breakfast we went to pick up my papa. The drive to his house
The next morning which was Saturday, I had awakened with the worst hangover and was reeking with the smell of wine and vomit. That afternoon our family was going to a wedding reception where there was more wine and champagne. I recall seeing a fountain full of bubbling champagne sitting on a table, as I passed by it the smell made get nauseated all over again and waiting to just puke. I learned my lesson from that day until this day to never over drink again. This learning experience was a very valuable one.
It was a Tuesday in a hot summer day in El Salvador that was the day I left my family. I woke up earlier than usual that day because I could not sleep any more; I was very scared and nervous about my long travel. It took me twenty days to get here to the United States. Around nine o’clock A.M my family and I made a prey so everything could go good, we finished preying then I started giving hugs and kisses to everybody especially to my mother and father. After
Imagine getting up one morning and running through your daily routine. As you get ready to leave for work, you kiss your two month old son and husband goodbye. The day goes by slow and every minute until five o’clock seems like eternity. Finally you rush home only to walk into a scene that will forever change your life.
