“We need Jesus to justify and glorify us, so we find the true meaning to ourselves.” In (Romans 2;15), Paul says that the Gentiles didn’t have the law while, the Jews did, meaning that humanity has the law or not. Such in (Romans 2:12) Paul says whether or not people have sinned against the law or not, all are condemned regardless as the Jews began teaching a stronger condemnation because they had the law all along. Where it all wraps up in (Romans 4:15) Paul asserts that knowledge of the law brings wrath, the Gentiles conversely didn’t have the law. Meaning that the Jews are held to higher standards then the Gentiles. When you look at the views today, many people are believing today that we don’t need God, and he’s not who everyone thought he was.
How can He let them be elected into office? This feeling has always been present among believers, even in biblical times. Habakkuk was written aproximately between 610 and 605 B.C. fittingly by Habakkuk. He, like all those before and after him, was wondering why God was allowing His chosen people to go through the suffering they were having to endure at the hands of their enemies.
This view is supported by the research herein and through exegetical study of the Scripture themselves. Daniel chapter 9 begins with Daniel praying a prayer of forgiveness and restoration for the Jewish people. “Daniel’s prayer for forgiveness and restoration was motivated by his reading of Jeremiah’s prophecy that the Exile would last seventy years.” Knowing that their sin was the cause of their suffering, Daniel pleaded with the Lord to turn His anger from Jerusalem and the holy temple. His desire was a holy one as his request for the restoration of Israel came from a desire that God may be glorified through it. As Daniel prayed, he was interrupted by the angel Gabriel with an interpretation of the seventy years.
Paul wrote this letter because of the hostility between the churches. The Christian jews wanted the gentiles to be circumcised and observed the torah before becoming saved. During this time there was great tension between jews and gentiles. Paul wanted the churches to know that they were battling desires of the flesh by this fighting. Paul also wanted the churches to know “if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” Paul wanted Jews and Gentiles to know if they are “walking
Jewish Sects Sects had a lot of the influence upon the religion. Most of the members of the Sanherdrin wee Sadducees. While they were concerned with stability of Jerusalem they favored the torah and the first five books. They did not believe that the other books of the Old Testament were authoritative. Also they did believe in angels or the resurrection from the dead because these documents were not well documented in the Pentateuch.
Christians believed that the first humans were created in the image of God, but that the bad behavior of Adam and Eve brought negative consequences to all humans to this day. During the middle ages there were many holy wars that were aimed at defeating the enemy of Christ. The main reason why Christians fought was to protect the holy land. Fighting also gained them much more power. The Christians conquered lands that would be useful for them to make profit and help with trading.
However the differences tell of two cultures very different relationships with god. In the case of the Hebrews and their god they are very close and open to him however he demands obedience. The Babylonians are distant and fearful of their god. Both deities demand obedience though, as do the cultures that identify with them. Despite society’s best efforts however, mankind will never truly be tamed.
Remembrance of the Holocaust is so important because it is extremely important to teach next generations how to honor people from history. Many races and religions were executed during the Holocaust. Some of these included Jews for their religion, Jehovah Witnesses for not conforming to Hitler's ways and remaining firm in their beliefs of right and wrong, Gypsies for their race, and the disabled because of Hitler's "cleansing program". He believed the disabled were a waste of his time, and they got in the way. These people deserve honor for the loss of
Despite the emotions by the 9/11 attack, our American values compel us to religious tolerance, helpful praise, and better outcomes, demonstrating that the mosque should be built on ground zero. Religious tolerance let's people understand and accept other beliefs that differ from their own. We can see this in the New Testament, Luke 9:49-50 "... we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus said unto him, forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us." so even though Jesus' disciples rejected him, Jesus criticized his disciples and accepted the healer.
Everything we see and go through got two sides negative and positive. Likewise Holocaust do have both positive and negative side, had the holocaust had not happened then the world might have to suffer it in future. Since, it happened already the loss of those innocent life, leaves a painful memories to those families and let us visualize how shameful and rich on sin are some human being that lived and some still do in this world.
