Describe the process used at each stage and identify the least sustainable practices. Production Stage 1: Receiving | Input Materials | | Output Materials | Preassembled motorsPlastic polymers | | Preassembled motorsPlastic polymers | Briefly describe the receiving process:The preassembled motors and plastic polymers are purchased from local Chinese companies. After receiving the plastic polymers, they are sent to be melted into molds for miscellaneous parts. | Briefly describe any nonsustainable aspects of this production stage:The company does not produce the motors in-house; therefore they are wholly dependent upon an outside company for success. The same goes for the much needed polymers.
I am not from New York, so this was not one of the sites I learned about in history class. I enjoyed visiting the street though, and I learned a lot. The inside of the houses in general were very different than what we are used to. They are not made for tall people because in every house I had to duck. In the earlier houses, they were very small, expanded outwards instead of building up.
In the video “Drones Are Not Ethical and Effective,” Jeremy Waldron argues that drones are not ethical because their use involves 39. In 2003, how many people died in Canada? 40. Which of the following does not describe how egg-laying hens are treated in factory farms? 41.
1) What are Marco Polo's general impressions of the Chinese city of Hangchow/Hangzhou, notwithstanding the cross-cultural misconceptions and historical inaccuracies in his account? Macro Polo makes Hangchow look perfect in many sorts of ways. He refers to it, basically as a Heaven on Earth. Referring to its magnificence as the finest and noblest in the world. He describes the people as very noble, caring, smart and down to earth; they live with no hassles and look to create none.
The Lin's Family are from China. They are traveling from China to America. They never been to america before so they really dont know what they are gonna see. They dont know yet how diffrent they are from people in America. The only thing thats really diffreant is their table manners and maybe the way they dress. Buddhism, another belief practiced by the great Asoka Maurya, did not support the caste system and was, just like the Chinese Daoism, a religion of pure salvation which practiced elimination of desire in order to achieve a higher spiritual status or nirvana. Spread by missionaries it was one of the most practiced religions of that time, both in India and China, but it had little political impact due to its nature. Like in China, Indian social and political structure depended on the belief system, but it was not influenced by the dynastic
Hakimi refers to something American when he is talking about Farsi: “That plate of grass doesn’t start with an s!” (p. 53). Then on p. 137, Dave is surprised that there actually is something going on inside the Iranians’ heads since they’re not very good at English. The Americans are also portrayed as kind of selfish: On p. 280 Bitsy thinks that Mac should drive his car through a stream of water to get to her party, not thinking about his safety. The title “Digging to America” might refer to that it seems like all of the characters are trying to dig their way to America (to fit in) in their own way. Bitsy and Brad do it by trying to be diverse in a very diverse country (keeping the name Jin-Ho, dressing her in Korean clothes), and Sami and Ziba try to be stereotypical Americans instead of keeping their own culture.

In Christine Leong’s short essay “Being a Chink”, she writes about how her own father who is Chinese, had written the derogatory term for a person of Chinese descent. However, the racial relations between Asians and white Americans do not appear negative probably because we don’t see Asians being highlighted on the six o’clock
It is not studied much in the US, since it has not been included in many publications, and almost no publications in English. The Peoples Republic of China leadership from Mao though Deng and to current leadership have advocated that the people are the masters of their own destiny, which is a principle of life of the Chinese people that comes from Buddhist teachings.
