Americans should have 4 week paid vacations like in Europe Americans on average receive one week per year of paid vacation. In Europe that’s completely different. According to the law in Europe, all employees that work full-time are given a minimum of four weeks per year of paid vacation. Americans are hard working citizens and they deserve to earn the same treatment as Europeans do overseas. The European Union, by law requires full-time workers to receive a minimum of four weeks of paid vacation. In addition, this law is also true for part-time workers in Europe that have worked for at least 13 weeks. These vacation days are an extention to the memorial holidays that are dispersed throughout the year. In Europe, employees are customarily eligible for their four or more weeks of vacation from the moment they are hired. This is a huge difference compared towards America. The work productivity and efficiency of jobs in Europe are much more exceptional. This can be due to the way longer vacation time is permitted and promoted in the working industries. As a part of the culture in Europe, it is very convenient for the employers to earn vacation time. Americans have a different psychological aspect of this matter. Vacation time in America should be encouraged as the Europeans point of view. Americans are indeed, hard working citizens. If we acquired the same approach as workers in Europe, perhaps our work manufacturing can improve and excell. The labor movement in the U.S. should revise work commands so that Americans can have an exceptional vacation limit. Jobs in Europe have slightly the practical differences from jobs in America, yet Europeans earn four times the amount of paid vacation.
