My Trip to Belgium and Paris Last year I went for a trip to visit the most famous places in two cities of Europe. I had only a week for the whole trip, so I planned the places I wished to see and visit in advance. The stop on which I decided was Belgium Switzerland. Switzerland is famous for its chocolates in the minds of everyone who had a sweet tooth. I am no exception. The first thing I did once my plane touched down and I left the airport was buy myself some heaven, also called Swiss Chocolate. After indulging myself I decided to check in my hotel and leave for my first famous tourist site. Since I had only a week to spare I did not intend on squandering it uselessly. The Swiss hospitality is something which is praised worldwide and I found the staff of hotel as no exception to the rule. Extremely polite and helpful staff members were more than happy to carry my luggage to my room and call a cab for me to visit my first tourist spot, Antwerp. It is a small town and is often referred to as the hidden gem of Switzerland. The whole town has streets which are medieval themed and is constantly spotted with Renaissance monuments everywhere you look. It boasts a dynamic night life but its’ mostly famous for being the hub of diamond trade. Once I got there I could see that it was not just talk but true. Countless shops held what look like pieces of stars glinting and winking at me no matter how I turned my head and looked at them. Once I got there I found the cabs and cars were rejected in favor of bikes. Almost everyone had a bike and were using it to travel, resulting in a virtually pollution free zone. I quickly made a beeline for the Royal Museum and Ruben House where I took pictures of thousands of Masters.
