Psychomotor Domain Performance Gap Analysis Bloom’s Taxonomy is a theory that has three different domains. These domains are cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, these domains provides instructors the necessary model to plan, design, and implement learning to all learning styles. The psychomotor domain has been revised or built upon by others. Bloom’s version shows the following (businessballs.com, n.d.): * Imitation – is where the learner copies the action or skill to achieve the necessary result. * Manipulation – is where the learner practices what was he or she had imitated, and comfortable and confident in his or her action or skill. * Develop Precision – learner strengthens and performs the action or skill fluidly. * Articulation – now that the learner has precision of the action or skill. Articulation allows him or her to modify, or add to the action and skill. * Naturalization – learner naturally performs action or skill without thinking.
