The words on the ad are “there is no easy way in. if there were, it wouldn’t be the Marine Corps.” The words contribute by creating an image or the idea in someone’s head that becoming a marine is a hard road ahead, but it is made up with the reward of being called a marine. The style of the text is simple, yet bold; it gives it the effect of a bold “in-your-face” statement. The sentence at the bottom of the ad is a challenge, the last two words are prove it, which would make someone want to go and prove that they have what it takes to defend our nation. The sentence also says “you must give everything you’ve got and we’ll let you know when you’ve given it”, which gives the feeling of motivation to try and give everything I have.
Regulations are put in place by the Marine Corps to protect its personnel and to essentially protect them from themselves. If there were no rules and regulations in the Marine Corps it would be impossible to be a force in readiness. The mission would not get completed and the Marine Corps would fail. Rules are put in place in the barracks to keep the barracks a suitable place to live and the keep the resident’s safe from outsiders. A staff is put in place to make sure that the barracks is in regulations with Marine Corps order.
Because it is impossible to provide examples of every appropriate or unacceptable style of "conservative" or "eccentric" grooming and attire, the good judgment of Marines at all levels is key to enforcement of Marine Corps standards in this issue, as in other issues. 3. The use of chewing gum, chewing tobacco, cigarettes or the consumption of food while walking in uniform or while in formation, are examples of activities that detract from an appropriate military presence. However, good judgment will govern the application of this
Extended Diploma in Uniformed Public Services – Assignment 1 Unit 13: Command and Control in the Uniformed Public Services Command and control in the Uniformed Public Services is critical to maintain the way things operate. It can be dangerous without command and control, because no one would be prepared or not know how to act when an incident occurs. Commanders have a lot of responsibility keeping their teams performing efficiently and safely, as well as displaying qualities and skills needed to be in a position of giving tasks to their teams. In this assignment, I will be going over rank structure, chain of command, skills and personal qualities for command and control and how someone can utilize command and control. Task 1.1 P1 All of the public services have a rank structure which takes the form of a hierarchical system.
I believe if I put my mind to it I can do anything including these goals of mine that I have for while I am in the Marine Corps. Now with that being said I need to “put my mind to it”. And the always seems to be the hard part in life. I know I can do it, when I have wanted something so bad in the past I would strive to get it and I always did not once did I prevail. I will not fail now, I really would like to make a name up for my self and accomplish these
Don was told of the treatment and was aware of the things the doctors were going to do in order to keep him alive. Dax was not influenced and made a conscious and intentional decision to not have the treatment done, which will cause his death. Yet the doctors didn’t allow his choice and chose to continue with the treatment because they thought Dax was incompetent to make this call and that the injury was so severe Dax was not in his right state of mind to make the decision. Autonomy as authenticity is if the patient’s choice is consistent with his/her attitudes, values, and life plans, as these have been shown to be reasonably constant over time. An authentic decision is the patient doing what for the patient.
If one can remain completely honest their word would never be tarnished there by affording them more opportunities. An impeccable person demands your full trust. One of my personal beliefs is that there is never a real reason to lie. When one becomes perceived as a liar it becomes your human nature to protect yourself from them. However you may have felt about them before, you can’t help but distance yourself from them now.
Sometimes this style is also described as autocratic. It is a common leadership style and is used when a leader needs to keep as much power as possible and keep control over the decision making. Subordinates are expected to obey orders without arguing back or in need of an explanation to do what they have been ordered to do. In the public services this leadership maybe used when you have all the information to solve the problem or you are working to a deadline. This is not an effective way to get the best result from a team, but it has some advantages in situations where there is pressure to get the task done, like in the armed forces.
“How is the Modern NCO the Embodiment of the Corps’ History and Traditions?” The modern non-commissioned officer is the embodiment of the Corps’ history and tradition by its core values. The core values are honor, courage and commitment. Each of these have been part of the Marine Corp. These core values have helped marines in difficult times and in everyday life. Honor is defined as honesty, fairness, or integrity to one’s beliefs.
No individual will choose something which could harm them. Privacy is very important as the patients will feel less exposed and vulnerable and you are protecting them from harm. Ensuring the patient keeps the dignity and are not taken advantage
