Abortion has been going on for a long enough. It’s sickening how many babies are lost every year to abortion. [i] According to the Early Milestone an egg becomes a being when they are implanted in a women’s uterine wall during days 6-14 when it attaches to the wall. I mean out of 20,000,000 sperms this is the one to make it. I believe that is their life form that is being created.
I feel that abortion is wrong because it kills innocent children and I believe that all living beings should have the right to live. Eighty eight percent of all abortion in the U.S. are performed within 13 to 14 weeks. By that time the child has developed a heart-beat , arm buds, upper jaw, lower jaw, eye spot,
The Amniotic Sac also develops, which is a fluid-filled membrane that supports the developing fetus. During the First Trimester, the child will develop limb buds, which are the beginning of the arms and legs, along with developing; fingers, toes, ears, ankles, wrists, and eyelids. The child’s heart will begin to beat around the 25th day after conception. The child also begins to develop all of its major organism, and its neural tube, which connects the brain to the spinal cord. Usually home pregnancy tests are accurate after the first day of a woman's missed period.
Abortions have become more common because a lot of people have what they call “accidental pregnancies” very frequent these days. Since the court war between Roe and Wade in 1973, there have been 50,000,000 abortions. As I researched the topic of abortions, I found some very useful information about the topic. Since 1973 when abortions were legalized in the United States, many of our states are searching for ways in which they can get abortions banned from their state. Many of the studies show that 52% of women that receive abortions in the U.S. are younger than 25 years of age.
As a child I had a book called "Where Did I Come From?" It offered a full biological explanation, in cartoons, to answer those awkward questions that curious tots ask. But the book is now out of date. Replacing it is, for example, Mommy, Did I Grow in Your Tummy? : Where Some Babies Come From, which explains the myriad ways that children of the twenty-first century may have entered their families, including egg donation, surrogacy, in vitro fertilization, and adoption.
If a woman has to travel to another country to have a legal abortion, she will do so, and she will have to pay more money. She will now not only have to pay for the abortion itself, but also the traveling cost. Not all people can afford these costs. So by keeping abortion legal and clinics open more women will have the chance to exercise their right and have their desired abortion. If a working woman or student suddenly has to leave the country to have an abortion, this means she will have to think of excuses and lies for an explanation.
To begin with, abortion became legalized in Canada in 1969. Just to think, abortion was illegal 43 years ago. In addition, over 100 000 abortions are performed in Canada per year at a ratio of 30 abortions per 100 live births. In this class there are roughly 15 girls in our If we used this ratio to the girls in this class, about 4-5 girls would abort their babies (after assumptions). Also, more than three million unborn babies have died from abortion in Canada since 1969 when abortion was first decriminalized.
The germinal stage is the first to occur and begins when the mother’s egg is fertilized by the sperm of the father. This naturally happens in one of the two fallopian tubes. After the egg is fertilized it is called a zygote. The zygote will begin to move from the fallopian tube into the uterus. About 24 to 36 hours after fertilization, cell division will begin.
Although killing an innocent human being is wrong, I believe a woman has the right to do whatever she wants with her body and if she feels a baby isn’t right for her at the time of her pregnancy it’s her business whether or not to get an abortion. An excellent example of this is teenage pregnancy. There are TV shows all over TV now about it. An adolescent is neither mentally nor physically prepared for a baby. Many girls drop out of school and are forced to get a job to support their child.
Abortion is unnecessary and the statistics prove it. Forty-two million abortions take place around the world annually. This breaks down to approximately 115, 000 per day. Out of those 115,000; only seven percent are a result of rape, incest, or potential health risks. The other ninety-three percent of abortions take place because the child is either unwanted or inconvenient.
