A Unique Experience

Last Sunday, I happened to go on a trip to Lake Orissa in Gangtok, along with my friends. We set off early in the morning. As the journey was too long, so we decided to stay in Shivallick Hills for sometimes. On the way to Shivallick, we enjoyed the beautiful sceneries of green mountains, sitting inside the bus. We took lunch in Shivallick, and after staying for about two hours, we set off for Gangtok. While passing through Gangtok, we saw many houses, shops and hotels that were destroyed during the earthquake in 2005. On the way to Orissa, the beautiful, noisy and fast flowing waves were moving alongside the road. After the day long journey, at last, we reached Lake Orissa. As everyone was tired, so it was decided to stay therefore the night and then continue the journey to Sikkim in the morning. After dinner all went to bed. In the morning, we left Lake Orissa and took our way to Sikkim by bus, till we reached a landscape called Orianne, from where the destination was not accessible by bus, and we hired a jeep to the former lake. Moving on the muddy and rough road, we saw many glaciers, icy water was flowing out of them. As soon as we stepped out of the jeep, the first sight of is unforgettable. Water flowing between the mountains could not take eyes off the view. And the glaciers seeming like clouds sticking on the mountains present a pleasant scene. After a round across the lake, we found ourselves a place where we enjoyed the B.B.Q. Later on, we went for a ride on the boat in the bluish green and icy water of the lake. The slides on the glaciers were very joyful. In the afternoon, it was becoming darker due to high mountains around the beautiful lake. So, we decided to go back to Shivallick Hills and stay there for the night. We reached Shivallick Hills at midnight, enjoyed the dinner and went to bed to view the dreams of the lake. In
