A Trip to Niagara Falls Meeting interesting strangers in a foreign land significantly changed my perspective on life. I love to travel new places, not simply because I am a nature lover, but also I am very interested to see the unseen to expand my knowledge by visiting new places. In last summer 2012, my uncle called me from Toronto, Canada and said, “I have two free air tickets. Do you want to come visit us?” I replied, “Wow that’s a great opportunity, yes I do.” I was so excited to visit my uncle’s house. And I know Niagara Falls is only 2 hours of driving distance from my uncle house. Niagara Falls is one of the most powerful falls in North America and it attracts thousands of tourists every year. This is the widest-known falls in the world, which is located on the border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S state of New York. In recent days, with the advantage of transport system traveling is much easier than the primitive time. So my sister and I took the flight from Houston to Toronto. But our plane landed one hour earlier. Gradually all people left the airport because it was almost midnight. We were hungry but all the food shops were closed. We tried to call our uncle from a public phone but he could not pick up our phone because he was driving at that time. So when our uncle arrived, we were totally exhausted. My uncle felt very sorry for this. Finally we reached our uncle’s house safely and took a very quick shower. My aunt is a very good cook and she prepared a delicious meal for us. We enjoyed our meal very much. We had a very good time with my two little cousins. Next morning we rented a car and drove to Niagara Falls. The scenery on the way was breathtakingly beautiful. On the both side of the road, there were winery farms and trees covered with grapevines. The trees had beautiful pink and white blossoms.
