Ever since I started vacationing there every summer for the past five years it’s all I seem to talk about. So now I have decided to persuade my family and friends to go to Jamaica instead of anywhere else in the Caribbean. To a place where they can embark on the vacation of a lifetime to experience wonderful sightseeing, entertainment and music. The first adventure I embarked on brought me to a cool, lush, evergreen mountain called Blue Mountain, a great location for sightseeing. The mountain stands at 7,402 feet tall and is the second highest in the Caribbean. It took me approximately three to four hours from the start of the trail to the peak. While on my seven mile hike I was enchanted by fruits, flowers and trees indigenous to the island. At the end, I realized my early morning hike was not in vain, because by sunrise I could see Cuba in the distance. While sightseeing is good there are still better things to do. The second adventure led me to Port Royal for a little entertainment. Port Royal was an ancient city founded in 1518 and was captured by pirates. In 1692 it was devastated by a major hurricane and land slide. It was rebuilt in 2000 and is currently open for our enjoyment. While there I went to King’s Royal Naval Dockyard, a ship shaped museum and underwater-aquarium, where I browsed many archaeological artifacts and got a view of native tropical sea. I was free to be and feel like a pirate. That was great but the best thing is yet to come. The third and final adventure I decided to go on led me to 56 Hope Road, Kingston 6. The former house of reggae artiste Bob Marley and now known as the Bob Marley Museum, is located in close proximity to Devon’s House. The Bob Marley Museum
