Moon, my spiritual guidance counselors, and my parents, grandmother, and other family that have been there supporting me all my life, I could not have done anything without you and you have taught me so much. I must thank all the Alma Bryant teachers and staff who have invested so much
Thank you again for helping me whenever I needed help. And the final teacher who is one of my most favorite teachers is Mrs. Cox. Mrs. Cox ever since I came into middle school, you have helped me with my grades and other things. You are a great teacher to me. I want to thank you because you helped me with so many things in school.
Burman Family Adoption Recommendation Elisabeth Meginness Western Governor’s University George and Amy Burman have been good friends of mine for nearly ten years. They live in my neighborhood and attend church with me. Amy and I teach Sunday School together for the four- and five-year-old class. George and my husband enjoy playing golf together and we meet often for dinner at our home or their home. They are applying for adoption of a child through your agency.
My children constantly remind me that even with my flaws and short comings. They feel for me and with me as I do with them. It is not so much what they say that keeps me going but the support that they give no matter what decision I make. As far as having an ego buster, many people have come into my life and made me feel inadequate in some form or another but for years I have had two relatives both aunts that have been quite capable of making me feel as though I have not been able to progress even when I have. They are both every verbal people and their ability to verbally point out the inferiority in people and myself being their focus much of the time assures me that in most times I am on a path they are not happy with because the path that I am on is a path that they them selves have not been able to travel and complete.
It was an emotional experience for both of us even if we were just elementary school kids. Moving to Buies Creek and joining Memorial Baptist Church was probably the best thing that happened
I would also like to thank my friends that I have met through this journey. You all helped me become successful. I remember our many study sessions we would have before a big exam and the many memories we shared. Thank you for always motivating me to do my very best. I accept this award with great pleasure and once again thank everyone who has helped me along my way.
The experience that has given me the biggest sense of ‘Firebird Pride’ is my time in National Honor Society. I truly enjoy giving back to the community and school that has given me so much. Through working with students my own age to senior citizens to citizens of Dayton in homeless shelters, I have realized how blessed I am to have all of the opportunities that have arisen during my high school career. I am a stronger leader, a better community member, and a more patient and understanding person because of the service I have provided throughout my time in NHS. Through the tutoring hours put into this group, I have formed bonds with students I never would have otherwise been around and the relationships with these kids and their parents have made me feel like I have had my own impact on the community.
They all supported whatever I did and helped me in every way possible. If I needed a notebook or a pen or a book bag they would go out and buy it. In return it was my job to do well in school. I held my end of the bargain and I brought academic success to my family on June, 10, 2010. That was one of the most memorable days in my life.
Classification of Friends “A friend is one who knows you and loves you just the same.” This powerful quote by Elbert Hubbard underscores the true meaning of friendship. According to the quote, it’s important to have friends who will always be there when you need them. Having friends is an important part of our life. Anyone who has spent time with friends will notice that each has a special personality. The best friend is someone who is always with you, encourages, and listens to you when you have any kind of problems.
A couple that goes through all the fights and all the jealousy; it's all the tears shed and all the anger, but getting through it. It's feeling all the negatives and still coming out of it all together. To the ideal couple love doesn't totally go away, ever. Love can be avoided and tossed out, but all the memories will always be there. It's easily mistaken by all ages and not as easily found.
