• Edexcel’s community — these message boards are designed to enable you to access peer-to-peer support from fellow Edexcel teaching and delivery staff in schools and colleges. GCSE Citizenship — Edexcel scheme of work • The programme of study for KS4 Citizenship is quite wide-ranging and there can be different delivery models for Edexcel GCSE Citizenship Studies. In its first year, the Palisades Cyber Academy is servicing about 25 cyber students who would have otherwise chosen another cyber learning option, and close to 100 other traditional students who are taking an online course or participating in a class using an LMS. Focused on close reading, writing, and oral defense of ideas, more than 70 tutorials a year are offered across the curriculum, with titles like “Biomedical Ethics,” “Women in National Politics,” and “Extraterrestrial Life in the Galaxy: a Sure Thing or a Snowball’s
I just want to be able to say to Jilly’s teacher, “So, Julie are we having fun learning?” or “Jules, are we up to speed on the shape shifting thing yet?” (I do plan to refer to Jilly as “we” in school as I am prepared to take 100% responsibility for everything related to “our” schooling because there is no way she is getting away with the stuff that I got away with.) So, I am pretty sure the road to this kind of relationship with the staff at Jilly’s school is paved with money. Money that flows to the school in new ways. New Money. Money for a class trip to a herbologist.
