A Beautiful Day Gone Wrong Last Tuesday was suppose to be one of the most beautiful days of my life. I went to bed at 9 p.m the night before, and so I got up early and was so full of energy. After getting ready, I set off for my first class, Readings in the Novel. I expressed my ideas beautifully because I happened to like the piece we were assigned to read that day. After class I went home and watched two series of "Two Broke Girls", an American drama. To make my noon break even better, I opened a bag of chips and washed it down with diet coke. So far it sounds like such a beautiful day right? Well, this is when it started to go wrong. All of the sudden, the laptop's screen froze, and just as I was trying to figure out what had happened, I knocked over my diet coke. If this was a movie, it should be when the superhero came in and lift up the laptop and protect it from the coke flood. However, this was the reality, and I was on my own. In the end I managed to clean most of the coke from the laptop, and of course the laptop no longer worked. Worst of all, it wasn't even my laptop, which meant I surely have to pay for the repair. With remorse and sadness, I went to my afternoon class. As the instructor went on and on about integration and differentiation, my mind was far off the class room roaming along the... wait, integration and differentiation? I was suppose to be in another class! And just like that I missed the attendance and was marked absence. My beautiful
